Anti Paladin is just as balanced, or imbalanced if you prefer, as the Inquisitor. He has the same stat restrictions as any paladin which makes getting good dex a difficulty because he loses his two dump stats.

He has two advantages over the Inquisitor, grand mastery and dispel magic on hit. Inquisitor gets +2 to all saving throws which is better then the benefits of gm. Also, to get gm with one weapon you will have to wait a very long time to be able to use any other weapon type. This does not mean gm is a bad thing, but it is less of an advantage when you consider that the only aweosme anti-paladin weapon is the Soul Reaver +6 (not anti paladin specific but there are few who can wield it better) courtsey of the Item Upgrade Mod. This requires Mallas' soulstone, soul reaver and carsomyr +5 which means an Inquisitor will have had his uber weapon for a long time already. The problem with 2-handed swords is they are great early (Lilacor and Sword of Chaos) and great later (Soul Reaver +6 and Carsomyr +6 and Gram) but rather lacking mid game, where the majority of the action occurs. It is during this point in time that Impaler and Dragons' Breath take the spotlight. This means that an anti-paladin who takes gm in 2-handed swords early will suffer a cut in effectiveness mid game, thus making his gm advantage smaller.

The dispel magic on hit is indeed powerful but rather redundent when the anti-paladin has a more powerful dispel magic available to him. Carsomyr also has the same ability.

Then there is the fact that the Inquisitor gets the Summon Deva HLA while the anti paladin just gets standard fighter HLA's. Good, but the paladin has them and then some.

The one advantage the anti paladin has which the inquisitor cannot trump is the pure power of his uber weapon. Soul Reaver +6 is easily the greatest 2-handed weapon in the game, Ravager and Staff of the Ram be damned. If this sword was available for longer then 2/3 of ToB then I would consider it a great advantage. Because it is available for such a small period of time I cannot see it as enough to offset the many other advantages the Inquisitor has.

My favorite mod kits are anti paladin (duh), blade master, and knight templar. The Archer of Sylvanus looks like fun top use but i hate druids too much to ever bother. I am going to try out the auramaster as soon as I resolve a current problem (no spells to memorize).

I also diagree with the death knight being overpowered. He has some nice abilities but you honestly think they are better then berzerk? Add on to that the fact that he caps out at specialization, and the berzerker will live to be used another day.

Edit: You forgot Stormlord of Talos, my favorite divine remix kit. If it were added to the poll it would be my answer to question #2. If any kit is overpowered, it is the wushi ninja. A Thief with 19 str, innate mage spells, and no real penalties make it the best rogue ever.

Blade master looks good and I may dl it this weekend.
    (where is it)

I know that Silverstar likes the Druidic Sorcerer but I fear that is more due to his 'powergaming tendencies' than anything else! :)

It just seems far to uber to me and just allows you to have the best spellcaster in the game, with the best that arcane and divine can muster. No for me.
(and as you say buggy as hell).

That enhanced SOA looks interesting. may look into it.

I love the Morituri becaue it's so hilariously unbalanced. You're restricted to boots, weapons and healing potions, and you can't become proficient in non-bladed weapons, although you can still use them. Early on you have a pretty poor AC, but every level you get a bonus to all of your resistances and every 7 levels you get a +2 to practically everything, not to mention having the Kensai thac0 and damage bonus progression. As well as all this you get a Berserk-style ability which makes you immune to practically everything under the sun.

Essentially, you get the advantages of the Monk, Kensai and Berserker, with all of their restrictions and more.

Yesss, the Hivemaster. Always hoped some modder would come up with that kit.

    Outstanding.

Sorry for reviving but I had to comment also on morituri.
Just entered ToB with one after SoA trip and he is walking god already:
    - 25 str normally while having 22 dex and con (after hell tear bonus)
    - over 250hps with regeneration 2hp/sec I think
    - lvl 40 (maxed long time ago) and DoE it's natural 60% physical DR - with a single Hardiness (have them 5 or so) it's immunity to damage
    - natural 78 MR + belt of inertial barrier equipped. With amulet it's 88 MR
    - natural 40 resistance to elements, I have boots of speed with +50 cold/lightning res upping res to 90%
    - -17 AC
    - 5 att/round
    - -25 thaco with main and -20 with off hand
    and many more, LOL

It's so hilarously overpowered that I don't even want to start playing ToB with him as it's pointless.
