I have just not had the energy to post here.

Hubby bought Lego SW 2, tried to install it and he had a corrupt file or something on the disk. I try installing it on my compy and it is fine except it can't be played. My graphics card isn't good enough.

I wish it would rain. Sometimes I wonder if it will ever rain here again.

    I'm addicted to Civilization 3.

Dinsdale, you should come visit Denmark. We have all the rain you could ever want and then some. :grr:

Thanks, but if I move to Washington like I'm planning I'll probably get my fill. I would love to visit Denmark, but not for the rain. :)

Only in the Olympic pennisula or Seattle. I guess Tacoma get a decent amount of rain as well. Once you get further east it dries up quickly.

I got an accounting invoice from Nfld health asking for payment for blood work which I thought got paid 3 months ago along with the x-rays and urinalysis. Silly me thinking these things would be included together because they were done during the same appointment.

I'll be going to the southwestern part of the state, across the river from Portland. Since it's west of the mountains they get plenty of rain there.

    Dinsdale,

Yep. Plenty of rain. But it keeps the area beautiful. I grew up in Seattle and am now withering and drying up in Phoenix, AZ. Not a lot of foliage here to beautify the area. It's a shame. The southwest has its own sort of beauty, but I don't think it compares to the Northwest.

    Kuemper,

I believe there is a patch that you can download that will allow you to install SW Lego 2 on the other computer. I'm sorry I can't tell you which one it is exactly, having installed the game over a year ago, but I know there is one. I think it may just be the official patch. When I tried to install the game, it gave me some error message during the install that went away after I installed the patch. Hope this helps.

Alright, I'm invited to have lunch in the university inner sactum - the professors' coffee room. Talking good old-fashioned literary theory over sandwiches with my promotor and her doctoral student should be fun. :D

Sorry to hear that Flix, I took german for three years when I was in highschool and I almost passed the final semester. German was not my forte. Funny thing that I ended up learning a new language in spite of the fact I thought I had no skills in that area. I think it might have had something to do with the very mean german teacher we had.

That same butcher shop is also advertising 'chicken frames', I just hope they come with assembly instructions and perhaps suggestions for materials to use in completing the chicken once the frame is assembled...:hmm:

Sorry about your German exam, though :( - do you get a chance for re-examination later?

Sure the term isn't over and I failed by a mere three point (I.E 57%) And I've still loads of paper due in german. Funny how the teacher wants us the write at least one page of written German per week. Might seem to be quite easy, but I assure you with my limited vocabulary and verb knowledge it is quite hard indeed.
