when I was in Aberdeen I was visiting a friend with a friend and together we visited a friend of the friend I visited We made a nice trip to a wildlife (=bird) resort at the coast up north, and along the way I remember I got hungry and foolishly bought a pork pie that I then spent the next two days or so digesting. I should have known better. We later went to town for a some beers.

Dunno why they wore that. Iirc my friends friend mentioned something like a recent stabbing of an officer or so? Can't recall what exactly. Certainly they couldn't possibly know we were coming to town.

 

We can have siggys now? I know it's possible on the new boards, but aren't they against the rules? Makes me wonder if it's still not okay to post images...

After watching 300 a couple nights ago, i have an urge to kick ass as Greeks on RTW, which i shall now do.

 

My kitchen appliances are systematically dying. This leads me to believe that the lifespan of these things is between 18-20 years, since the house is about that old - not sure exactly when it was built but these are the original appliances.
My landlord is quite amenable to replacing them as they go out but what a pain it all is, especially as I am anxious to begin the Christmas bread baking season and the oven is still out, waiting for the new one to arrive.
ION I am still sick. Ugh.

Oh, well, at least we babble still.

I stayed in bed till 4 (PM) to read. I desperately need some structure.

 

I'm pretty sure I've seen lots and lots of police wearing body armour in Edinburgh... though thankfully we're spared the sight of the armed police, something that you see just about everywhere you go in London.

 

Signatures are still in an experimental stage. I'm playing around with mine. Images may be not far away. I'm sure Tal will keep them within limits. My second favorite Board was, IMO, wrecked when a rebel group entered the forum and their images were so large that one image could take a whole page.

 

There's nothing like translating company liquidation proceedings between the local tax authorities and a foreign manager, for a criminal lawyer.

Complain all you want, but it's your future. Better complain for a couple of months now than for a couple of decades later.

 

I used to find college applications dreadful, until I had to deal with real bureaucracy. Trust me, it's very good practice!

 

I found the thread and immediately turned sigs off.

 

My current night can be summed up by the fact im posting here. Ok, not really, its good, but not quite what i wanted/expected. Bleh, telling people you like someone is STUPID!!
