Last time I played through the game, everything ran fine. I decide I'm gonna give it another go since I'm bored with everything else - and now everytime I click the mouse to skip one of the intro's it lags for about 10 seconds. Whenever I open the console, lags for about 10 seconds...

Anyone else encounter this before? I've tried re-installing and re-updating the game and nothing has changed... My PC can handle the game at max settings without lagging normally either.

I'm running Windows XP, so the OS can't be the problem.

Yes. I've had it installed since before I played through MOTB the first time.

I don't know if there's some change in software like installing nero that might've done it, but I re-installed it and it's continuing to lag when I open console or click passed any video.

EDIT: I found the problem - although not specifically. Either PowerDVD or InterActive Player (DVD player program from a dvd movie) did something to interfere. I'm assuming it was PowerDVD though since it actually forces itself on any dvd whether it be a movie or a game. Uninstalling them did the fix.

Master Leo, you are a genius. Or perhaps I am just a little slow, I've never thought of that :p
