Poor Daie, :D :D ... life is hard when you have to get up before noon. I'm sure that DoTW would gladly give you a list of suggested beverages that would help you out in that situation, if you asked him.

On the other hand, DotW himself is reluctant to get up early in the mornings (see how ever many pages ago when he 'forgot' to set the alarm clock)...

Hehe, I did not "forget" to set the alarm clock... it "malfunctioned".

But seriously, if I ever find the dumbass who decided that day shifts had to be the norm, I will beat him to a bloody pulp. And if he's dead, I'll cast a bronze (slang for taking a dump, BTW) on his grave.

Day and daylight aggravate me. Waking up in the morning is an inhuman torture.

The more of those horrible early mornings I hate to pull off, the more and more attractive going back to school to get a welder PSD gets. The classes are offered on a NORMAL SHIFT - 3pm to 10:30PM, and shops are almost the only place where one can get a evening/night shift instead of being forced to wake up, bask in daylight and being stuck in traffic with all the other [censored because Tal doesen't like it when I use too many asterisks].

But if you HAVE to suffer this inhuman torture and pull early mornings, "energy drinks" are your best friend. And if someone mentions the disgusting filth called Red Bull, I swear I will beat you to death with a 4-pack of that sewer slop.

Jolt. Rage. Full Throttle. Rockstar. Stoked. SoBe Arush. SoBe No Fear. Monster. Diesel. NOS. Bawls - pick your poison.

Jolt is offered in many flavors (cherry, blue raspberry, orange, raisin, citrus, cola), is cheaper than your regular drink and is shipped in massive 695 mL cans. Rage is my latest discovery, and I was pleasently surprised. I haven't tried the regular Rage, but the sugarfree version tasted like a mix between fruit punch and cranberry juice. Rockstar is a bit hard to describe... you'd have to sample it yourself. Make sure to pick sugarfree, because the regular version has a sickening strong sugar aftertaste. Stoked is okay, but pick this one only if you're in a tight spot and have nothing else to choose from. SoBe Arush tastes like passion fruit, and it's [censored] GOOD. Again, go sugarfree. No Fear has a peachy taste, not bad at all. Monster? It's a classic. Again, pick if you're stuck in a tight spot. Diesel is a monster clone. NOS didn't perticularely impressed me - a sip or two and my bro found himself the proud owner of my 22 oz can. Bawls is a freaking classic. It's great tasting and packs a good punch.

There, now you have it. Spread the word of our Lord Caffeine.

    Must....stay....awake....

I hate when my sleep schedule gets all messed up. I'm going to have to stay awake for 24 hours to get back in my grove. Only 8 more hours to go... :rolling:

****ing hell. I have a friend involved in the Amway pyramid scam. Very intelligent person - BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BE A LITTLE MORE SCEPTICAL!

How :bang: can :bang: she :bang: be :bang: so :bang: blind?

In the conversation I'm having with her currently she's mentioned 'pyramid scheme' so many times it hurts - she knows that there's a huge amount of people who think it's shoddy but she's completely blinded by 'lol! I'm gonna be rich!'.

It's all I can do to not shout at her for being so stupid. I'm trying the very calm-and-considered ignorant to the thing kind of role at the moment (in fact, I'm being incredibly deceptive and should probably be ashamed of myself - but on the other hand, I haven't been blocked yet). Another friend has already clashed with her in a rather spectacular way, I gather. Glad he stumbled into that one and gave me warning...

    But argh!

I wonder how many more slightly-barbed and perhaps a little too well directed questions I can ask before needing to reveal myself here. I kinda doubt that they're enough to break her faith, but I suppose using a chisel is a better idea than pounding on a brick wall with only your fists...

 There's a scratching in my throat and my nose is running, which suggests that I'm on the edge of getting sick. I don't like it, and I can't use it, and it's pissing me off already

    An interesting circumstance, Gnarf.

Aik, it's very hard to talk someone out of willful ignorance.

May you all recover smoothly from Carnival leftovers, uh, hangovers.

And for those of us who care: a blessed Ash Wednesday to us.

Hmm, I forgot to make pancakes yesterday.

That could be a good thing, as I don't have any eggs...

Ugh...after making my last post here, I went in the other room to watch Family Guy with the wife, and I ended up falling asleep within minutes. :bang:

I'm going to be a walking zombie at work tonight. :bad:

In other news, after reading our new thermostat's instructions a dozen times, I finally figured out how to set up an automatic heating schedule. :D We're almost completly settled in to our new place, and it's very nice...I just have to figure out a way to block out all external light from out bedroom now. :rolling:

Back from Caerdydd! One thing I noticed is that everyone calls you "love". And the hamburgers are tasty.

My brother told me that according to the British law, it is the duty of every English person to kill any Walesman entering their part of the country (no idea if it's true or not).
    But I mean seriously, "duty".
