    I'm considering adding this mod to my BGII game. Assuming you've played this mod, what is your general opinion towards it?

    Generally I find it great although it has it's flaws, some of them can be corrected others can't. Adding a quest to Minsc is worth it alone, but other of the quests are also really well made.

    I like it a lot. It adds some possibilities and brings together some loose ends (the circus for instance).

    I recommend it, especially since you have played through the games numerous times.

    Well, I'v ealways liked it, but now that I finally got the extended illithium quest to work, I like it even more. There's a bug in the Boo kidnapping quest where trolls are unkillable, but there's a fix for that - I just wish I could remember where.

    Bottom line - it's definitely worth installing.

    It might be worth waiting for v17 in my opinion, details can be found here.
    It's a discussion of PPG developers, based on the research results of BWL, so in no way I want to bring such technical content to here, but I gave the link just to support my advice* that the next version will probably be more bug-free.


    * Of course, the current version might also work without problems on several types of installations, especially on well-tested ones (that is, with other Pocketplane or Gibberlings3 mods of the same type/size). So I don't mean to be totally discouraging here. The probability of problems is only higher if you also choose to install bigger, or more complex mods.
