From this moment forth, I shall start each day with a prayer that you never become my milkman.

    Don't knock the Splunge-milk until you've tried it! :p

'Sides, how will we ever seduce him away from his wife/girlfriend/hand if we don't?

    Happy Easter!

Seriously, it's Easter today here. It's kinda weird, as we celebrate Christmas with the Catholic/Protestant churches, but Easter with the Orthodox one. Hmm, must be the first time I've gone to church since, well, a few months ago. I usually go either for the big holidays or when the fancy takes me, and neither is particularly often

I've only needed the Tylenol III in the evenings, when I can't just lay down on the heating pad for 20 minutes...

I'm almost out of Tylenol III though...

Go get some more Tylenol III then Gnarf - just watch that you don't get addicted to the stuff. In our local huge mall they have this water massage machine that you lie in and it moves jet streams of water back and forth over a plastic mat that keeps you from getting wet. I bet that would be good for your back. I think if I ever win the lottery (which I don't play very often so it isn't likely) I would buy myself one of those machines.

Back to the topic of my scorpions and pet raven... I have Emperors, which aren't venomous. Getting stung just hurts like a bee sting, nothing more. Getting stung by an Israel Fat Tail or Black Asian Scorpion, now that's a different game -- kiss your arse goodbye if you have the time to.

The only problem with a pet raven would be to find a breeder...

The Shaman: Happy Easter! (Hristos Vaskrs!)

DotW: Raven and scorpions... nice mix, imo.

ION: Awful weather. I had to wake up early this morning to go to the village, and I'm always grumpy when I don't wake up on my own.

People say I develop a poisonous sense of humor in such situations... hazardous to peace and harmony of family reunions. :p

They're wrong. I'm simply not in the mood to be teased.

Easter was last month...get with the times! :p

In other news, we had quite a night last night. We hosted a party for my wife's best friend...who happens to be Mormon, and all her friends are Mormon too...so it was the dullest party I've been at in a long time. <insert: shoot-me-in-the-head smiley here> Around 10pm, we kicked them all out and then we went to a *real* party with lots and lots of booze, loud music, drunk people losing money playing poker, and people passed out everywhere in between. :D Unfortunately, we got there fairly late, so all the good booze was gone, so I was drinking a mix of 151 proof rum with vodka and a little grenadine...not the easiest thing to drink, but I got really f***ed up really fast. :skeptic: :rolling:

I was under the impression you'd already done that long ago.

    :p

(On a side note, I have no idea what I'd do if I didn't have the ' :p ' smilie to use. My post count would probably be around 100.)

Soon I'll update my system to Ubuntu 8.04 - I dunno there's something about installing a new Linux distro, it's always fun!

    I'm such a geek...

Well, cats are boring and dogs drive me crazy. And I must admit I'm a bit surprised to find someone else who likes the idea of having pet ravens and pet scorpions...

Hell, I almost feel like sanding the old gigantic three stories cage, give it a new paintjob and get another rat - I miss freaking out old ladies when they saw my rat on my shoulder.

Decados: One week... Lucky you. I'm stuck with lectures till the end of May, and have exams throughout June.

DotW: What color was the rat? :p

Raven sounds great. I always wanted a nice spider too (think orange knee tarantula, like the one Gill Grissom has in CSI), but I'm against tropical animals being relocated out of their natural habitats, so exotics are pretty much not possible for me.

I have a dog, Bela, at my grandparents place (white, cute, peaceful, with a bear's soul), but my parents won't let me keep one at home (no space). I like large dogs like Old English Shepherd, St. Bernard or Bloodhound, but they say no even to a little English bulldog (which I also like). :(

    Current pet count at home:

4 parrots and 2 canaries (mom and dad's) and a super resilient fish in the garden fountain, species unknown. Everyone calls it Batman, for no real reason... Cats seem to avoid it, too. :p

I guess that I'm more of a plant person really...

Ah, Kitrax, you slept through the last thousand years of religious history, didn't you? Never mind, so did most Western Christians.

Trust me, it's Easter in some parts of the world.

Meanwhile, here, it's raining. On the whole this is good, considering how much we need it, but it's still a little dreary.

And not far from here some guy got served with an order of protection and promptly went to his inlaws and shot or stabbed most of his family last night. According to the local TV nearly a hundred law enforcement officers are searching for him. No one dead yet but one in critical condition. :(

It's a sad old world out there, sometimes. Where's Sam Vimes when we need him?

Hey! Don't group me in with the christians! :nono: For all I know, the extent of JC's *real* abilities could have been lame finger tricks as seen in this Family Guy clip.

Perhaps someone *should* create a time machine to fact check the bible...however, I have a feeling the end result would be a *much* smaller book...something you could read start to finish within a couple of hours.

/me hides from the religious fanatics. :rolling:

    Where indeed?

This sad old world could use a Watchman or two.

Hooded - black and white. Damn, I miss that fella. One of the best pets I had. I take comfort in the fact he lived a good life and died of old age...
