    WElcome home, Ara.

I had the X-rays on my back this morning. My chiropractor will look at them tomorrow morning, so I hope to know what I've done to it. I think I may need a career change pronto. Maybe I can get provincial Disability support this time...

I'd call that anger MANGLEMENT therapy, DotW, but I agree - not many things are as good as making mayhem.

Two pages... you guys were busy. :)

Flix, I talk to my mom five times a day to let her know I'm okay. Over protective - sure, but to tell you the truth I like when she calls. It feels nice to be treated like a five year old every now and then :p

    I agree with D-Fly, too.
Your dad is just making sure you're safe, imo.

    Decados: Revision time here too.
It should be renamed to something different (like boring silence time).

Trell: Keep failing with your no computer efforts... ;)

    DotW: Interesting therapy methods...

    In other news... nothing new.

My father's like that sometimes. I think the main problem with Flix is that he's being treated like a five year old all the time and not every now and then.

My faculty just got criticised on national television for scheduling exams during election time so they have postponed my microbiology test for next weekend... Hurray! :)

Btw, is the spell-checker that the link on top of the BoM page leads to set to American English or something?
It keeps highlighting words like favour, honour, colour, centre (or criticised for that matter).
These are all correct spellings too, as far as I know.

Loreseeker: If you're using Firefox*, you can install spell-checkers with the browser. I use Danish and UK English; but I don't know if Serbian is available.

    * It actually marks up "Firefox" as a spelling error. ;)

[IMG] If you use Firefox and want to have a very handy British English spellchecker automatically check your text as you type it into any text boxes in the browser, just click this and install. Heartily recommended.

Thanks. I was just wondering about it, nothing serious. :)

    Thanks, Tal. I'll try it.

Oh, and by the way, you don't really need a spell checker for Serbian.
We read precisely as we write, and write words as we pronounce them. (Every letter symbol has one sound associated with it, regardless of its position in the word, or the surrounding letters.)

For example, A is always pronounced as in Alex, E as in every, I as in "in".

If you know how to pronounce the thirty letters of Serbian alphabet, you can read any text written in Serbian (aside from the accent, I guess). You wouldn't understand the meaning, but you could read it.

Another example: If Loreseeker had a meaning in Serbian it would be written as Lorsikr (according to the sound of it). In the same fashion: boards - bords, place - plejs, thread - tred... reading - riding

Our grammar is more work... but reading/writing is a piece of cake.

I can tell that I'm learning useful stuff- my notes just informed me that an 'anarchist does not wear a tall hat, long black coat, and carry a smoking bomb.'

A bit of a shame- it would make them much easier to identify!

Nope, I went the whole day without a hangover. I guess my body just likes me and knows how to handle massive intake of alcohol... :D

Hmmm...a British English spell checker huh? I'm tempted, but I like seeing all the little red squiggly lines whenever I type, "Ello then Gunv'na!" :p

Any chance for a *normal* English spell checker? If not, it's all good, the cut/paste routine for M$ Word doesn't faze me.

In other news, our outside condensing unit for our AC has been stripped. All that's left is a coil and the compressor. I guess the repair guy didn't have a part on him, so he called it quits fairly early yesterday...hopefully it doesn't get too hot between now and when he comes back. :bad: :rolling:

Glad you agree. There's nothing like destroying stuff to blow off some steam.

Well, considering how the -- I'm not even sure how I should call her anymore -- pissed the apocalypse out of me yesterday, I had to deplete my energy reserves and end up tired and burned out to calm down - and even then I was still waiving that sledgehammer around... there's mounds of scrap metal gladly waiting for an art makeover. I've considered joining an art expo when I have enough "works of art"...

Decados, what's wrong with Anarchy? :skeptic:

Thanks for everyone who showed support, I think I'm back to my old self. And have managed to miss a ton of stuff here! Things move quickly on the BoM :)

    Ara is back!!!
It's great to see you in RBP again. You've been gone far too long!

I agree with Dragonfly here, you will understand him better when you get older. I've yet to see parents who weren't on either end of the spectrum - either completely uncaring, or so protective that they drive you crazy. Mine were (still are really) on the latter end, but I feel kinda grateful for it. My mother was so overprotective she almost drove me crazy, but trust me when you move out and they actually get used to it you'll feel strange. I felt a bit neglected when I no longer had to call every 15 minutes to tell them where I was and with who :D

Gah... you know what the worst part is about a breakup? The freaking friends trying to cheer me. I'm fine, only mildly disappointed and pissed, get off my a**!

So one of my friends came out of the closet a few weeks ago and apparently he's already close to making a boyfriend. Now why couldn't I make girlfriends at the same speed?

Maybe it's because you have a bunch of dead bodies in your basement.

In other news, we had some extra booze so I decided to take advantage of it...but I woke up today with a sore back and a pinched nerve in my neck...I don't know what I did in bed last night, but it must have been fun...I just wish I could remember it. :bad: :rolling:
