JBL, deal with someone "properly?" I consider him the single least entertaining wrestler in WWE, and it's a bloody mystery why they're pushing him back. The guy's a total bore in the ring, and must be the most overpushed wrestler I've seen so far.

JBL was cool when he teamed with Farooq in the APA. A beer drinking Texan who beat the hell out of anyone for no reason whatsoever? What's not to like? Oh that's right, the JBL millionaire angle.

BTW: John Cena is the most over pushed talent in the company...

    I don't know, I missed that one.

Cena is definitely pushed down everyone's throat 24/6 (used to be 24/7, but this year it's a bit more tolerable), and way more than JBL - but imo at least Cena has more going for him. JBL shows even less technical skill, and doesn't even have the charisma to annoy me properly. Here I was watching wrestlemania, ready for at least decent fun, and the guy walks down the ramp with the facial expression and emotion of a freshly dead autist. Oh, and that's being billed as "intensity?" Give me a break - this is even worse than when Cena was "controversial" in his military cam-colored pants and salutes (and that crap was my #1 reason for disliking Cena initially - I started watching WWE again during his persona change).

Now, this could be tolerable for a middling wrestler, but for a contender for one of the actually mentionable titles in the WWE? No freaking way. Kozlov seems to have more in-ring personality than this guy.

Kozlov? Give me a break. This guy has been squashing jobbers, ooh, now that's impressive.

I echo what Gnarff said about the APA - good ol' times, those were.

Oh yeah, let's poke fun of Wish we Were Entertaining - the "million dollar giveaway" did not help the ratings at all, as a matter of fact Blah did rather poorly.

I'll close this rant with a philosophical thought for you guys - CZ-****ING-W!

I don't expect Kozlov to stick around. The MMA guys almost never last because they ultimately can't stomach the entertainment aspects of the industry. MMA traions you to beat the opponent as quickly as possible, where as pro wrestling wants the match to last longer. Sure Lesnar was a champ and made an impact, but he absolutely hated it...

So the contest didn't help ratings? I guess if you don't like it, you can't pay them enough to watch it...

Wish we Were Entertaining intends on cutting the contest short if next week's BLAH rating doesen't tickle their fancy. Get it right - BLAH sucks. I had the choice between watching BLAH or CZW's Tournament of Death 2. Guess what I ended up watching? That's right - CZ-F'N-W!

Kozlov will eventually be buried. This guy isn't even the slightest bit entertaining.

I never said he was impressive, and pointed him out just to state how boring (imo) JBL is. Thanks for helping make my point. Yet, Kozlov is a low-ranking monster that might, at most, be elevated enough for the big guys to stomp to get some credibility. JBL is one of the big guys, despite having no more personality.

How the f... is anyone supposed to take him seriously? At least the free money thing may appeal to a few fanboys now and then. JBL is a bore, and I almost spewed coke all over my computer when I saw someone with a poster of him. What is there to like about this guy - that he can at least punch? "Wrestling god," my ass. There's only one wrestler (that comes to mind) with the arrogance to make such a claim and the skills to at least somewhat back it up, and it sure isn't that moron.

There was a regular tag team match between two matches in the Tournament of Death 2 featuring Messiah & B-Boy against Dutt & Ruckus, IIRC.

What's so special about it? Well, for starters, it showcases how much Dutt is underutilized in TNA. I don't like the guy, but he has some pretty impressive potential. Speaking of potential, B-Boy also impressed the hell out of me. This kid has a long, illustrious career ahead of him, I can tell you that - former CZW Ironman Champ, Best of the Best 2003 winner, plus some impressive background in the indies... it'll be interesting to see if he lives up to his potential.

But until they start airing CZW or Vince gets some serious competition, we're stuck with it...

I wonder if he could be a decent monster. He'd have to face tougher competition, and see if he can actually have a decent match...

I still remember the APA days. Besides, He has his Clothesline and a few power based moves. He's trying to use the Ric Flair Model--antics that draw heat and make you forget his ability then deliver a classic on the big card. The only problem is that his wrestling style doesn't lend itself to that strategy.

I'm interested in seeing where the heel turn goes. It sounded like he had Black Moronic so pissed he almost broke character. For him, it would be a good thing...

CZW is far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far too violent for any kind of major TV deal.... and it's a good thing because CZW will always remain true to their roots - nonstop Ultraviolence. Seriously, the Tournament of Death 1 was awesome, the Tournament of Death 2 is out of this world. All of the Cage of Death are proving unbelievably hard to find -- I've said it before, I think I'll definitively have to order them. Worth every single penny of my money. CZ-F'N-W!

As for Dutt... as long as he gives the Macho Man wannabe a good asswhooping, I'm all for it.

I will be tracking down any rumours of where I can find footage of this violent action when we finally get the High speed access...

I've tried just about every torrent site I can think of, and like I said, all I could find was the Tournaments of Death. They took forever to download too, thanks to the microscopic number of seeds - it took two full weeks to download the ToD2, the torrent downloaded ar 1.3K/s.

I do, however, know of a good online store where the Ultraviolence lovers can splurge and get some sweet Ultraviolence - they carry a pretty impressive collection of CZW titles, too. Just say the word if you want the link.

Indeed. That worked well for the late Eddy Guererro, as well as Edge, Angle and several others, but I don't think JBL could pull it off. Plus, in order to draw heat he should have some charisma - and I don't know about you, Gnarf, but I just don't see it.

BTW, what happened to RoH? I haven't heard anyone mention them recently.

The last I heard, Ring of Boredom got a PPV deal and are broadcasting their shows on a monthly basis. Personally, except when CZW invaded RoH, the Homicide/Cabana feud (which had some SICK moments, like the time Homicide poured "Drano" down Cabana's throat or the barbed wire match, Ring of Boredom isn't something I'd watch on a regular basis.

Once you taste Ultraviolence, the rest becomes boring crap.

Jim Ross had suggested somewhere that WWE should subsidize them in an attempt to develop some quality talent...

He still is an idiot. Don't get me started on Lawler either.

Two draft spoilers - You can't see me and Umaga are going to Crapdown.

Yeah, I think I saw the article quoted over at Wrestlecrap. From the WWE perspective, it may be a good idea - it's probably cheaper, and more effective, than having "training feds" of its own. Then again, just because it may be a good idea doesn't mean it will happen, or it won't be completely botched in its execution.

The album which contained the Sleepdown vs Blah 2k8 shot has gone public, so check out myself and Nate Hatred winning those WWE Tag Titles.

And I understand the booker of RoH allowed Danielson to wrestle the dark match, but I do not foresee Ring of Boredom becoming developmental territory. Two different styles aimed at two very different audiences.

I ended up watching the end of Blah, just to catch the aftermath of Jericho's heel turn. As it was to be expected, Jericho doesen't disappoint even the slightest bit. He can get a huge pop just as well as he can get huge heel heat, and you know wha? I'm loving the heat he gets - finally, a vicious, ruthless Jericho who doesen't give a damn about the people.
