    Agreed. In fact I prefer even closer to my age. If the person were really exceptional... then again, if the person were not really exceptional, I would not be making moves on her, so... Well, at any rate, we generally check out first, flirt first, make moves a bit later, make big decisions later still. At the initial stages our preferences generally matter. It would take some big event to skip those routes.

    That's what it looked like to me.

    You ask a girl out. She brings a boyfriend and one of her girl friends. Partway through the evening she comes up with some lame excuse and leaves with the boyfriend, but leaves the girl friend behind with you. The girl friend is interested/interesting and you both have a nice time.

    So what's there to be confused about? Even if it wasn't deliberate, you had a nice time with one and were annoyed by the other. Simple choice IMO.

    For what it is worth, I agree with BTA- it looks like she fully intended for you to be with the other girl. Not necessarily a bad thing- if she's hooking you up with one of her friends, she must think that the two of you are reasonably compatible.

    Just because someone is a Christian doesn't mean they automatically want to marry. I know several who are devoted to the Christian God but do not want to marry anyone.

    Likewise it isn't just Christians that would want to marry. Neither does a marriage ceremony need to be Christian or even religious at all.

    Pity I'm dating an atheist though :lol:

    It was a cynic, sarcastic generalisation towards Xtianity.

    And 8peeps... even if I WANTED to get married, imagine telling their old folks I want to marry her in a LaVeyan celebration... :bad:

    But back to the subject, I bumped into one of my old exes today. Still mad at what I did to her, three years after. Get over it already, dumb broad.

    [​IMG] Yeah, would be interesting for my family as well :lol: all Christians, none of them know I'm a witch and when they realised that I wasn't the same faith they were rather shocked. (The clichéd crowd gasp and everyone turning to look at me kind of shock, wasn't that pleasant around Christmas time let me tell you :shake:)

    I think the only people that would openly object to a wiccan ceremony would be my step-fathers family who objected to my step-sister and I being black bridesmaids as well, threatening to withdraw money they'd pooled into the wedding as well :rolleyes: At least they apologised after seeing us in our dresses.

    I think I'd quite like an outside ceremony as long as it was sheltered.

    If you did get married, Disciple, it would probably be to a similar faithed person to you anyway :wave: it always sucks if the family is close minded though.
