Correction, Mysterio is the most prone to injuries. Sometimes I wonder if he's made of glass the way he's always injured.

Edge will be out for a month or so, cena 3-4 months(at most, they are saying 2 months but i feel that is a little too quick), kennedy 3-4 months, jamie noble got hurt in a dark match & i still haven't heard how bad. The wrestling sites are saying that undertaker came back too early & has to be careful until his knees heal up abit more.

Mysterio's latest deal has been about contract negotiations, he has been cleared to return to the ring for over a month.

Foley has officially agreed to contractual terms with TNA. :skeptic:

    Whatever.

Kennedy may not get much of a career if he keeps getting hurt...

It can't help, certainly. I think he's ruined at least 2 possible pushes he might have had by now, and with Edge gone he might be missing on another great opportunity.

I thought Cena was out for longer, but the WWE would probably like him back as soon as possible. Same for Edge - and though I like his work so far and am particularly enthusiastic about his psychitic edge lately, I would prefer if he took at least 2 months before coming back. He's no longer 20-something, and he has had his share of injuries already, so some overall relaxation and a bit of fitness (he doesn't need to look like JBL) time would do him good in the long run.

Current plans for Unforgiven are for whoever wins the SD Scramble to face Undertaker later in the night. The angle will be that Guerrero will be giving Undertaker a title shot as a 'peace offering'.

Whoever wins the belt is in very, very, very big trouble. Can you imagine - HHH vs Undertaker? That would be epic.

Sting had a speech tonight. Apparently he is doing the "I don't trust the new generation" angle again. Yet another unoriginal attempt for an old guy to steal the spotlight from the new guys...

TNA had plans to rehearse the old WCW "Millionaires Club" or something angle, IIRC. Could be the start of this angle, I suppose.

Wasn't that the final nail in the WCW coffin? When will Russo ever learn?

It would most likely be enjoyable, but it has been done before. I am wondering if any of the new bloods have what it takes to stand up to the Deadman. Somehow, the old Dawn of War quote "and die standing" comes to mind ;)

Not the idiots who have qualified for the "scramble". Hardy would have the best chances of survival -- after all, he's already been in a ladder match with the deadman -- but the rest of those idiots don't stand a chance in hell.

The King of Kings, OTOH... my money's on him to retain.

IIRC, nope, the final nail in the WCW coffin was Russo resurrecting the nWo angle yet again - remember nWo 2000?

ION, Wish we Were Entertaining has plans to induct Stone Cold into the Hall of Fame next year... and those plans include a final Austin match at WM25!!!

He's the kind of guy that they should keep around in an "entertainment" capacity. As long as he can dish out Stunners...

The one thing I wonder is who would Austin face - his last WM match deserves a worthy opponent... and Wish we Were Entertaining are lacking just that.

    Some possibilities, though:
    - Austin vs HHH: Remember the Power Trip days? That would be an interesting showdown.
    - Austin vs Taker: Two of the biggest icons butting heads on the biggest stage of them all. Need I say more?
    - Austin vs Jericho: The "most despised" heel butting head with an iconic face. Not likely, but wouldn't it be nice?
    - Austin vs Big Show: They buried Show at WM24, so why not at WM25 too? Show looks to me as very slowly turning heel.
    - Austin vs Kane: Another interesting showdown. If they can make Kane's heel turn last until WM25...
    - Austin vs Ken Kennedy: Since the idiots at Creative have no plans to push Kennedy beyond mid-carder, this one will never happen... but just think of the promos this feud would cut!

The Undertaker and HHH would be too classical to pass, and I think both can put up a great enough performance for Austin's last match. However, I thought that the Undertaker himself may be thinking of retiring soon, so that may mean he himself retires at Wrestlemania... Where else?

    Nah, I doubt it.

Do any of you also play the management sim TEW2008? I just bought it and it's quite ok, maybe you should try it. :)

Doesn't ring a bell, but I stopped playing wrestling-based games after WWF Wrestlemania, and sport sims after a few nights with Championship Manager something.

SD vs Blah 2008 actually is a pretty decent game. Lots of matches to choose from, including weapons matches, and you can make your opponent bleed like a stuck pig. Oh, did I mentioned that if your wrestler's fighting style is Hardcore, you can do Con-chair-tos, and get special weapon grapple attacks? e.g Barbed wire bat -> rub it on your opponent's forehead Steel chair -> Throw the chair at your opponent and punch it. I'm waiting for 2k9 to come out... and I'm also mildly curious about the Total Nonstop A-holery game.

When Randy Ornton came out and ripped on the heel champs, I thought he was making a Face turn, but then he ripped on Punk and put a burr under the saddle of the tag champs, so I knew he would stay a heel. He might be watchable for a while when he comes back though...

Orton ripping the champs was golden. And if you think about it for a minute, he's right - Phoenix went from the most dominant in the "woman's division" to a lovestruck teenager... as for Marella, he is indeed the weakest Intercontinental champ ever.

And when Orton started ripping on Suck, of course he had to come out and cut a promo - remember what I said about this guy being You can't see me-ized? The promo Suck cutted was a carbon copy of a You can't see me promo.

As for Rhodes and DiBiase... it's time they unleashed some aggression, and the Pearl Harboring of Cryme Tyme was a grand sight.
