    Thanks for all the welcome backs - it's nice to be able to amble around the boards again. ION, we had enough ice in the northern part of the county that the kids seem to have gotten out of school early - or the kids across the street from the office are skipping, maybe.

    We have 4 Apache helicopters doing maneuvers just outside our front window...it's friggin' SWEET! :bigeyes: I finally got a few pictures of them churning up a bunch of snow, which looks pretty cool. I might post them on SP tonight.

    Who says living next to a municipal airport with an attached National Guard base is a bad thing? I get a free air show once a week! :D

    That's interesting. In Mexico, on January 6, they celebrate the coming of Los Reyes Magos - The three wise men. The kids leave out their boots and they receive a gift from the Reyes Magos which they request by means of a letter posted by helium balloon on the previous day. I have lucky kids. Because of their Mexican and Canadian heritage they get both a visit from Santa and a visit from Los Reyes Magos. :D

    I had entered the Wrestling Random Babbling thread by mistake, trying to get here... Took me a while to figure out why I had no idea what everyone was talking about. :shake:


    In other news, I still have no idea what to buy to my brother for New Year, but something computer related should do the trick. The PC needs upgrades, too. :p

    Oh, btw, I'm spending New Year at home, like every year. Looking forward to it. :)

    Well I can't deny Christmas is coming now, I'm going to get the tree and decorate it today. Although it's been almost always on the same time each year, my reasons are somewhat secular, I decorate in the first two days after I finish school. I don't care much for religion, especially since I began my studies in History...

    So Sal and I are going to monopolise the common room with Warhammer stuffs in a minute :D

    I'll grab a hot chocolate, some models, glue and paint and shoo away all that trespass :evil:

    Will also take music. No crappy dance and R&B tonight for me!

    Oh well the apartment is now fully Christmas-ish, it took four bloody hours but I had to play, err use a hammer. So, all is not lost. I also used Duct tape to hang some other things, I wonder if anyone's going to find out.

    I took me three loads to wash all my clothes, I never realised I had that many!

    Anyway, everything is done so I can now relax and enjoy my book with a cup of massala chai tea.

    [​IMG] Another year where dad proves he doesn't care about me :rolleyes: was speaking to my brother, who told dad that I was immobile in bed and seriously ill. The next day when he spoke to dad, Dad told him he'd phoned me and had a nice chat with me.

    Funny. Last I heard from him was 7th October 2007 when he added me on Facebook and hasn't bothered with me since.
