Deep Gnomes with Alchemy bugged?

    The first time ever I got totally stumped by a bug in the game. :o

    My Deep Gnome spellsword tank is the only person in my party with high (20+) skill in Alchemy. However, he can't seem to be able to do the Viciscamera poison in the Underdark. In fact, when clicking on the table that you use to do it, he doesn't even get the dialogue options to show. My other five characters get the dialogue, but naturally can't make anything since they're not alchemists.

    I reloaded & retried with clicking on the table with some other character first, letting someone else carry the ingredients from the other tables, even reordering my party roster so that my tank isn't in the first slot. However, I can get the dialogue option to show BEFORE I've killed the mage guarding it, but naturally she doesn't let me use it.

    In the end I had to cheat in the poison flask to be able to continue game. I was expecting trouble in Dragon's Eye and lo and behold, I actually had to let D'hey-Jazzerion create the Sabotaged Histachii Brew for me, too. My DG alchemist didn't manage it. :mad:

    Any others notice this?

    [​IMG] My DG illusionist/rogue had no problems with this. I don't think it's a problem that has ever occurred before, so maybe your DG character is broken somehow.

    coineineagh! You broke Sir Rechet's gnome? It's one thing to disagree on powergaming issues, it's another to break someone's gnome. :toofar:
