    This is a bit like Dracula. Bram Stoker wrote a book that was based on a guy with bad teeth and a worse temper and now there are hundreds of kids wearing too much make-up, claiming that the world is an awful place, shouting that nobody understands them and thinking that they are 'creatures of the night'

    It doesn't take much for people to start believing that something is real

    True, but so is the reverse. Outside of America and a few western countries, serious disbelief in the Holocaust is quite common, despite all the pictures, video, records, and testamony supporting it, some people still refuse to believe it happened.

    Ultimately, humans are very gullable, both in believing lies and in disbelieving the truth. We tend to take the tiniest bits of evidence, or the smallest possible questioning, and make it into the be-all and end-all of the topic, absolute proof.
