    What is a keg stand? (I might know it in french, but I don't in english.. :()

    I am an exclusive guy.... meaning I stick to the stuff I drink. I start with beer, I end with beer. It helps with not throwing up... :D

    I think a keg stand is 'baril de bière' but my French is about as good as my astro-physics!

    I can mix Vodka or Tequila with beer, but no other booze or wine can mix for me. In my twenties, Molson Ice and any Tequila were my drinks. Now, usually a pint of Grey Goose with a splash of Fresca. UHMMM!!!! Yummy!

    The only problem I have is i'm no chugger. I cough and I start spitting beer everywhere. It's the damn gas in it, just like I can't chug pepsi, coke, ginger ale, or anything like it. I'm sorry... :(

    On a positive note, I like to drink lots! :) *Triactus opening his sixth beer...* :beer:

    You either have to fight for the 'SP drunk' title or you don't... :p

    oh, and you're right Silvery : Keg = Baril de bière. Only a standing keg was an english expression I wasn't familiar with. See, your french *is* better than explaining black holes and string theory.... :lol:

    Hey, I don't know about BTA, but I was a regular old member for quite a while before Tal ambushed me and made me a mod. He was really clever about it too. First, it was "Oh, would you be a mod for the Alleys, we need some extra eyes looking over those threads, yadda, yadda." Next thing you know, BAM, I'm a general moderator. He's quite clever, you know.

    I actually probably post about the same now as I did before I was a mod, ignoring the posts where I am being a mod.

    I like this place. It's the only online community that I belong to and I am quite happy with the members. It's also extremely interesting to get other people's points of view on matters as diverse as those discussed on this site. (That being said, how people control their private areas is probably not necessarily something I needed multiple points of view on, thank-you-very-much.)

    And BTW, I'm sure Silvery could drink me under the table. I'm a lightweight now that I'm old and a :geezer:.

    So let me get this strait...you created a thread saying what an amazingly diverse community we are and very specifically say you are not drunk.

    What happens next? 3-4 members get in an online drinking competition and end up with hangovers.

    I have the odd feeling there's a moral there but for the life of me I can't see it...

    Hmmm...when I was in Costa Rica at an "all inclusive" resort, I drank a *LOT* and very often...I was constantly buzzed or drunk the entire time I was at the resort...and yet, I never did get a hangover on that trip. :D

    When out at a bar, I stick to mixed drinks like Long Island Iced Teas and AMF's...and I love doing Kamikaze and straight Jager shots! :love:

    As for beer....I try not to touch that crap. I don't like bitter tasting things, so if a beer was made using minimal hops, I can tolerate it if that's the only thing on tap.
