    Generally, 420 chars per minute in Polish, up to 450 in English. Highest 446 in Polish, 460 in English (the latter was error-free).

    Beware spaces, if they go wrong, the whole thing goes wrong. If you see it's lumping all your words as mistakes, just press Refresh (F5).

    My youngish clanmate of old (the clan doesn't exist any more) exceeded 500 in Polish (where you have to make use of the right ALT to make national chars).

    So, care to show us what little life you have? :p

    350-400 in English, 300-350 in Finnish.

    Finnish is slow to type. ;_;

    I really have no life...

    Citation needed?

    I'm on my laptop though...would have thought I'd type slower...hmm, will try it out at home. My problem is that I don't really type ergonomically. I think it makes me faster but I'm not sure if it's good for my hands. :/

    Someone should do it in Dvorak!

    EDIT: Tried a few more times (it's addictive!) ... can't get past 698 cpm, but I moved up my rank to 143. Wonder how fast #1 types?

    77 words and 420 characters without an error is my tops after about 10 tries.

    Tend to not get any errors, because I instictively backspace, so it works out. 410 characters and 70-75 words seem to be about average for me.

    I really don't type how you are supposed to either. My left hand is proper, but it reaches across into where the right hand "should" be. The right is kinda splayed out so the fingers roughly rest from n->o with a free pinky.

    I type 34-35 words per minute and always have. Fortunately I also think slowly....

    I'm right there with you... I like to think that I focus more on *quality* rather than *quantity*... :p

    Don't be silly - I only used my right foot. Any faster and I'd break my keyboard. :p

    305 characters per minute, 52 correct words, 1 wrong word. I think I'll have to go with T2 and Kit and claim to be going for quality not quantity. ;)

    It's very hard without index fingers. :p

    Edit: Managed 326 chars, 56 correct words and still 1 wrong word.
