    Speaking of spotted thingamabobs, I'm disturbed by the cancer that chimney sweepeer's used to get in their nether regions in 19th century. Yup, soot gives cancer. In the nether regions. U-huh. It's true. And horrifying.

    Rode home the ten miles from work on my bike in shorts and softshell vest through steady rain. Everybody gave me funny looks. Why? It's some 15°C, that is, reasonably warm when you work out. Actually, the ride was fun. Sine March I do that three to four times a week now, as a supplement to running.

    Had I worn rain gear I'd have to wash my clothes anyway, because they would be sweaty. The vest keeps my body dry (i.e. warm) for about an hour - which is more time than I need. So, less work, less load, greater comfort. Inevitably I arrived home soaked. I showered and am now dry, warm and comfy again. And I hope I will be less suspect to colds this winter :)

    Did anyone see the ad here on SP about the Human-Dog Hybrid? I'm not sure if it creeped me out or if I think it's really awesome. A little of both I guess.
