It's a bugger though isn't it? People will have a perfectly normal conversation with me until they find out that I can't hear properly and then feel like they have to shout, despite the fact that they were talking normally two sentances ago

When coffee tastes like sewage then adding sugar, cream or milk is not such a bad idea. Never tried Tabasco but when all else fail cinnamon, cocoa, tea or booze can do the trick.

It's awfully hard to find a decent cup of coffee sometimes.

Have you ever tried cofftea? That's one thing I actually made up in London. Utterly disgusting stuff.

 

I'm lucky, we have a coffee machine that grinds the beans for us so if we get good beans, we get great coffee!

I just read about the Spiel Con in Essen. Wow, just... wow. I want to go there this year.

 

She has a fantastic British accent in English (very posh) and she keeps mocking me for my Scottish accent but we're both French native speakers. I didn't know she had a British passport though. She's also Italian but I knew that already. It's complicated.

 

I am still wating on my PC. UPS sucks the big donkey! They delivered the Monitor last week, but so much for 3 day ground service. I should of rec'd the entire order by Friday at the latest, since it shipped in the beginning of the week. I am really starting to get pissed. I think I just ruined the day of the customer service rep I just spoke with. He actually believes the BS rhetoric he is supposed to spew at irate custoimers. I just might of made him question that for future callers!
