    The best video game I ever played was a full-cockpit, hydraulic movement enhanced F-14 training simulator at Naval Air Station Miramar. It was awesome when I hit the Coronado bridge at mach 1.

    I have a day off today and had the time to dissemble my new bike. I cleaned the chain, checked the handle bar and seat mountings, checked the brakes and oiled the levers, checked the lights, cleaned and oiled every screw and then put it back together. Nothing loose, no weird noises. Which means the repair shop will only have to repair of the bottom bracket bearing because whatever else required repair or maintenance has already been fixed or works perfectly.

    Weird, just like building or dissembling and putting together computers, doing the same with bikes is fun, relaxing actually.

    In 6 hours and 45 mins (if I'm lucky enough to get on a home-bound bus) or 4h 15 mins (if I win the weekend-crowd-lottery, which I won't) I'll finally be home.

    Spent the last 2 days visiting my corporate office out side of JFK Airport in NYC. One of our VPs cracked me up. He ia a Black Cowboy living in New York City. Hilarious!

    Maybe he's trying to live it up and be like Cowboy Troy who made his debut with Big & Rich a few years ago? (Only know about that thanks to a lady who I worked with who wouldn't stop singing "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" at work - song is hilarious and hearing it sung offkey was even more so.)

    Here are the rims (the hard metal-like material that has a rubber tire wrapped around it) that I currently have:

    They are the OEM rims - 16" diameter and are 6.5" wide.


    And here are the ones that I want:
