    Maybe you should look again... :good: I didn't have a single one until a month ago... then 5 in a row. Talk about the shock of a lifetime, but I guess it was too good to last. I'm just angry at my previous dentist for telling me I had perfect teeth - 6 months ago. I just can't believe I could've gone from 0 to 5 in 6 months and not a single filling in 27 years before that.

    Even though I've brushed my teeth twice a day every day since I was a kid, I have about a dozen or so fillings, one crown, and one overlay. None of them are silver/gold so you can't tell that I have any at all... The overlay was required after one of my front teeth broke while I was eating chicken...I chomped on a bone, and it broke the edge of my tooth off. All the rest were small cavities. My gums are perfect however, and my dentist always compliments them...and smiles when he sees the X-rays... :money:

    Tons of Mt. Dew and loads of Starbursts have left their mark in my mouth... :bad: Apparently the gallons of milk I drink on a weekly basis isn't enough. :rolleyes:

    Lowers? Well, I have some. Most of my problems have been in the uppers anyway. I am so glad to be over that problem! I feel SO much better! :banana:

    I have one filling and one tooth pulled so far (although the tooth was pulled to make space for a 'more important' one)

    I have a dentist appointment on the 4th though and expect to be told that I need at least 4 more fillings and possibly a crown - wouldn't mind except I told my NHS dentist when I was 16 that the fillings were needed and he ignored it.

    I got 2 fillings on the sides of the same tooth. Actually, all of my fillings are on the intra-dental sides of the teeth - I've always had problems flossing because most of my teeth are so close together that flossing is next to impossible and always results in bleeding. :bad:

    Oh, I've got one... it's just nowhere near as quick and convenient as flossing and basically seems like brushing... again. If only somebody combined an electric toothbrush and a water flosser, I'd be set. But they don't even sell cordless water flossers here yet...

    Over 30. Likely over 50.

    My dental care has taken a fair bit... and then when I finally got 'em fixed, I get surgery side-effects causing massive tooth decay. Yay.

    I visit a private dentist too; my teeth just kept getting worse visiting a local dentist. Expensive, but my teeth don't ache 24/7 anymore.
