So, if I add an NPC mod after the fact, like as in after all the Tweaks, UPgrades, Quests, GUIs, etc.. will it screw up the game? I added Nikitalleria(and a few other NPCs as well) after everything else was done, which shows she is supposed to be in the Copper Coronet in the Slums. She wasn't there. The other NPCs I added were in game, like Haldimar, Kivan, Cassius & Ulrien(Promenade), Ghareth(City Gates), Saerilith(Temple District) and Stivan(Bridge District). I was looking for an NPC that was a good F/T and easy to obtain from the get-go. Nikita fits this description perfectly, but she wasn't there. Anybody have any ideas?

[IMG] As you already visited the Copper Coronet the script to spawn her won't work. You'll have to use the console to get her to appear.

As a rule installing mods that edit an area (NPCs, etc) they will only work if you have NOT accessed the area beforehand.

If you haven't been to the Graveyard yet you could consider adding Angelo.

That makes sense, thanks 8! Guess I can start over, I really want to try out Nikita and Ninafer as well.

Carad - I have tried Angelo in the past with an all-evil group. He fit well as my main battle mage. His stats don't make sense though. Dualled F/M with only 15 STR? I thought you needed 17 in the class you are currently in and in the new class to be able to dual?

I think I will try the party of all mod NPCs...

    Me - Half-Elf Ranger - 2 weapons, Axes & Swords
    Nikita - F/T
    Ninafer - F/M
    Saerilith - Pal(Cav)
    Wikaede - Cler(Helm)
    Cassius - Bard(Ska)

[IMG] Anomen doesn't meet his requirements either, and Elves can't be Cleric/Mages ;)

Seems only the PC has to follow the rules!

You only need 15 in the primary stat of the class you dual from but 17 for the class you dual to. So with 15 STR and 17 INT you can dual Fighter -> Mage. :)

And Aerie's an elven (Avariel) cleric/mage... As you said, only the protagonist has to follow the rules. :D

Monte - 15? Ok, you're right, now that I just looked it up. Not sure why i was thinking 17 for the 1st class. My apologies.

8 - Aerie is an Avarial. Did you ever come across 2nd edition rules for Avarial as a PC race? If so, linky please? :)

[IMG] If I remember rightly, all elves had the same class limitations in 2e, without any suppliments at least. It's been a LONG time since I've read 2e stuff outside of the games :heh: If I come across anything I'll be sure to share it, I think a couple of other NPCs break rules as well but I haven't noted them all, those were just the obvious two.

Was probably poorly covered up by:
    "Quick! Make Mazzy a fighter!"
    "But I don't want to!"
"Shut up and do it, you'll have to rewrite her dialogues."
    *sulks and starts typing*
    *leaves*
    *sneaks in special abilities anyway*
    :D

I do like the little rulebreaking quirks though, they help to emphasise a specific point, even if they aren't prominent, they designate previous experiences and focus.

I particularly like some of the special abilities of the characters. Tiax and Summon Ghoul. Mazzy's special abilites are a nice touch to make her pally-esque. Minsc' Berserker ability was another nice touch, though, since he is a Rashemi, I thought they should of made him either a Barbarian or Fig-Ber and included his ability to reflect which lodge he was from.

Ok, restarted and added Nikita. Nice character. Changed up again though, as I was thinking of a "Pimp Daddy" theme, with the PC as the only male and having all of the others vie for my affection, just like in real life.....:D

    Me - PC - Human Bard(Skald) - SK'd him to have the following stats - 17 19 16 17 13 19. Mr. Charisma himself. Should be fun.
    Nikita
    Ninafer
    Saerilith
    Keto
    Branwyn

A little light in the Tank department, but heavy in the Arcane Magic department with 2 bards and a Fighter/Mage. Saeilith will be the Tank, backed by Branwyn and Ninafer. Ninafer's low HP is a worrry though, so Stoneskin, Bur and M/I will have to be up constantly.
