Well, it was during the evening shift so there were no more higher ups, just our respective foreman. Mine was cool-headed and laid back, and between laughter he just told me to take a well-deserved break. :shake: The big boss nearly passed out from laughter when he too heard what happened. I hailed the leaf with a couple of people from the place, including the big boss' pants-on-fire-hot secretary. Awesome work environment, but that was prior to the new management. They weren't too keen on my washing machine mouth or the foul moods, and that was the end of this.

Ashley has a new game. He pretends to go to the shop and buy things. It's normally cherry pie (or 'cher pa' as he says) but anything out of the Hungry Caterpillar book will do. Anyway, my mother decided to make a cherry pie for us today. It was a lovely thought.
Unfortunately, her oven is knackered and she's not all that great with pastry. We ended up with soggy, under-cooked pastry on the bottom and a charcoaled top! We had to eat some as well while she was here and yummed it up because it's not worth the hassle of upsetting her!

For a moment, I had thought it was somehow done on purpose. During a... MUG situation.

Anyone else thought the beginning of this Outwar MMORPG ad looks like a lady wearing a low - cut top? :D

I know. It's on my to-do list. Tomorrow, or they day after tomorrow, I will install and start using LaTeX ... :holy:

I use mark-up at work in XML all the time, so it's not a big deal getting used to.

I deal with Word only when I have to and this time I have to. Editing tables in Word ... Yuck.

You know what the best application for making/editing tables, adding custom characters, and pretty much anything else is?
A pad of paper and a pencil! :p

Not if your output has to be a word document and a PDF.

That's where scanners come in. IIRC there are programs that can convert written text to editable documents.
Yeah! What's wrong with PDFs? I love the ability to lock my documents so no one else can edit them....that and the form fill in with in-document linking is awesome! :D

Did a bit on mynew bike yesterday. I got a child seat for it for Ashley but have taken it off while I get used to riding a bike again. To take it off you have to take the saddle off and then lift the seat off. That was the easy bit. I put the saddle back on and tightend it up but I don't have much strength in my hands. As I was riding the seat started to twist round and I didn't notice (it happened really slowly) and by the time I got home it was at quite an angle.
I have some rather sore bits on one side now
