[IMG] SOMEONE has hidden my 4-in-1 BG compilation.

I knew where it was but imagine my disappointment when the little bugger disappeared on me. Other half went from denying anything including "I don't even know what box you're talking about" to "Yes, I remember seeing it there. No idea where it is now."

    Bah!

How can I lose a boxset of four games in a room that's 10'x10'?!

This sort of thing was a chronic problem for me for the first 6 1/2 years or so of my marriage. We lived in a fairly small apartment, and ooooh, how my wife loved to move things when she was cleaning. Often, moving things encompassed "moving" them down into the trash to free up space. Computer games were always on her top 5 hit list of things to move on me, so most of the time when I wanted to play a particular game, I had to search for it for a good week or so. :/ Sometimes, to make a point, I would empty all of the storage bins/closets/etc onto the floor during my search. "Well, if you'd just leave my stuff where it's supposed to go, honey, I wouldn't be doing this right now."

Things have gotten MUCH better since we purchased our home, and I actually have my very own office again. Anything I care about is in here with me, and incidents of misplacement have become very, very rare (occasionally one of my kids still manages to breach my defenses and make off with some loot).

They are 3 and 7, and fortunately still too innocent to care about such things. They they've gotten their hands on anything from DVDs, games, books, and work related documents.

It wouldn't be completely out of the question for me to find my 3 year old in his room thumbing through, say, the Book of Vile Darkness! You know, your standard age 3 reading list stuff. What can I say, I'm a model parent.

Bah, that's what put hair on my chin when I was 3...:p

Speaking of which (sort of), I often wondered how cool it would be to wake up with all your memories to this very day, only your 5 years old back in... whatever year it was when you were five years old. Imagine passing for a complete prodigy and cheating everybody in predicting the future... For me, the biggest experience would be figuring out how much alcohol I would need to get drunk. At that age, we would probably need like half an ounce... of beer...

I just received a package, a box with the 4-in-1 BG compilation... I don't remember having to order it. Did someone send it to me as a late Christmas gift?

I have accumulated so much stuff in my room that it's beginning to get ridiculous. I hate getting rid of stuff though. I kept the pedals of my very first bicycle, why ? I dunno, I just did.

Periodically I'll search through my room and discover stuff I forgot I had ever possessed. This is kinda fun.

Am I the only one, when I finish eating at a restaurant or something and a clean napkin is left, that uses the remaining napkin just to give me good conscience in the fact that it was actually used before being thrown away even though I didn't need to wipe my mouth or fingers?

    ... very tired... :coffee:

When I go to eat, we usually need all the napkins we can get our hands on between my kids and their dad (me), who has all the table manners of a rampaging hyena. So that extra napkin will get put to use, yes. Not out of guilt, but to help clean a layer of saucy goo off someone's face.

And for the record, I'm joking about my table manners. Well, sort of. :p

Yeah, but that's my point. They throw all the napkins away anyways. They won't separate the used from the unused. So I feel guilty and give myself good conscience in thinking I actually used it and there was no waste. :)
