Just a short advice to a re-play party

    I decided to play this game again, but with other NPCs than the usual ones...

    I so far decided this (roles I intend to use in parenthesis):

    Keldorn (tank)
    Mazzy (light tank / archer)

    Aerie (spells, spells, spells - all round spell caster)
    Immy (Nalia when Immy is gone) (mage and thief)

    Anomen (light tank, cleric)

    NOW.... I have two questions:

    1) I cannot decide to paly either pure mage or an archer... what do you guys think???
    2) Will the game be very hard to beat with a party like this ?

    Sorry for the probably 1000nth time someone asks this.... :D

    Well, to answer your questions in reverse order:

    2) I think you've more or less got all corners covered with your party. The only weakness I see is that Nalia isn't a good enough thief to see you through the entire game but she should be adequate until you get Imoen back, provided you don't try to do any dungeons where you need a reasonably skilled thief.

    1) Since your NPCs have everything covered, you can pick any class you like. For what it's worth, I would pick a mage to get the Planar Sphere as my stronghold. So my suggestion is, pick a class you haven't played before to try a new stronghold.

    Hi guys.

    Thanx for help. It did help me make up my mind. Here's my plan:

    I will play as either sorc or a thief dualed to mage. The dual char is so that I can ditch Immy if I want (not sure if I do want her this second time around). I am not sure, just want the option. However, I have the banter packs and unfinished business installed. So maybe this time aorund I'll keep her around for new dialouge...

    Sorc sounds good. Not sure though, never tried it. Hmmm.... I think I'll try.

    Anyway, I'll go for a magic user, thats for sure.
