Sorry if this isn’t the place for this question on an older thread but...
If some day a person wanted to import a character from BG1 ee and a character from BG2 ee into BG3 ee (once it exists) is this something that wild be possible? Asking for opinions because I’m thinking ahead. Also wondering if the golden pantaloons set has an actual endgame. Maybe this wouldn’t apply to bg3. Considering not importing the bg1 character who possessed the pantaloons into BG2 but instead using another import char without them.

There was a small scene if you imported the pantaloons from BG1 into BG2, and then imported both sets of pantaloons into Throne of Bhaal. IIRC You would get the Big Metal Unit, by far the best crossbow in the game (major artifact level) if you have a party member to use it.
As for BG3, I have no idea. It's in per-release and too expensive at the moment. I don't even have EE, I have the original 5-CD BG1 and the collector's edition of BG2.

Sure, same way as before. Export your characters, then start a multiplayer game fro ToB and import both characters, then move the savegame from /mpsave to /save.

Although they would be severally under-leveled for ToB. Surviving the first fight with Illasera will be difficult with a character imported from ToTSC and a presumably newly-created SoA character.
Yes, she's designed to be beatable with a newly created triple-class character or a bard with a support build, but there's a big difference between level 7 and 17.

Oh yes, there's an actual endgame fpr the Pantaloons, but it takes some work to get to it. The solution to the "Pantaloons Enigma" is this:-

    1) In BG1, obtain the Golden Pantaloons (at the Friendly Arm Inn) and import them into SoA.

    2) In SoA, obtain the Silver Pantaloons (from one outcome of the "Find the kidnappers who buried Tirdir" quest - note that not all ways of resolving this quest yield the Pantaloons: to get them, you have to choose to take over the role of kidnapper after defeating the original kidnappers, i.e. take the Evil path in this quest, which costs you 2 REP, although there's a very cheesy trick (too cheesy for me) to dodge the penalty), and carry both the Golden and Silver Pantaloons into ToB.

    3) In ToB, obtain the Bronze Pantalettes (by sub-contracting the "Iycanth's eyestalk" quest to Bondari, Nanoc & Tim in Abazigal's Enclave).

    4) Then (in ToB) visit Kerrick the Smith (in Amkethran) with all three Pantaloons in inventory, and Kerrick will craft the Big Metal Unit (which is essentially a Full Plate +11 armour - yes, +11, that's not a typo) and the Big Metal Rod (which is essentially a gun, but uses crossbow proficiency, and has three different types of special ammo, all unlimited in quantity, all firing at 5 APR unhasted). It's fun equipment!

Some hardcore purists view the BMU as too over-powered to be "fair play", but my own view is that it was deliberately built into the game by the original developers and therefore is a legitimate part of the intended endgame equipment, and it doesn't protect the other party members who aren't wearing it, so I reckon it's fair enough and frequently use it. By the time you finally obtain it, you're nearly at the end of the game, so it's only the last few fights and the Final Battle which are made slightly easier by having it - and in which you're facing epic-level endgame enemies whose attacks will quite often hit you even when you're wearing the BMU, so it's not perfect protection.
