CD 3??? There is no CD3....

    [​IMG] After finishing Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal, i thought i'd buy the first Baldur's Gate and play all the way through them....but oh no...not a chance!

    After much whingeing from Jaheira is decided to go South and see what was happening at Nashkel....but my computer keeps asking me for Baldurs Gate Disc 3....a major problem as this new version of Baldurs Gate/TotSC only comes on 3 discs, 2 for Baldurs Gate, one for TotSC

    I have looked on this site from top to bottom, and on the interplay site and it appears to be a common problem on the British and European versions....great....but there is no common solution!

    Do any of your goodselves know any possible way around this?? I have only being playing 2 hours and i feel deprived of my fix!!!

    There are no patches installed, nothing downloaded, just straight out of the box and installed on my pc.....help!!! :( :(

    I have no knowledge of this but might not the no patches thing be the problem? try to download the latest patch and see if that helps.

    I would try downloading any patches for the game. Might be able to back up your savegame, then reinstall. All I can think of.

    The long and short of it is that files were left off the 3CD European version. Some customers have been able to return the set for a refund, but I don't think there's been an actual solution. :(

    Interplay outsourced support for Europe to a company called Avalon IIRC. Judging by the support forums over at Interplay, Avalon hasn't been doing a very good job.

    Sorry! Hang in there, BG1 is worth it.

    [​IMG] DO NOT install any patches, the 2CD repack version is already patched. Patching it again will only cause more problems.
