Beat the game

    Well, finally beat the game this evening, a month exactly from when I purchased this fine game.

    Lost 1 guy in the final battle and how fitting that it was Sylvus Moonbow who fell to the dirt just as the final beast of evil did as well.

    Chapter 6 solution will be up sometime this weekend and even though many of you have finished the game, hopefully some people will find some use for it.

    beat the game after 3 days, and still discovered about 60% of the secrets, I basically played it 15 hours a day, I strayed from my usual routine. I've beayen the game 9 times thus far, 6 legit, 3 hacked!!!!!

    I have a question have u ever found some level 9 spells or level 8? i havent found 1 even thought i beat it 2 times if u can tell me where some spells are that would be nice

    I found some lvl 8's and one lvl 9 spell.. but they were unlearnable.. could only scroll cast them. I think I found them when I killed that phyco deep gnome killing mage.. (Forget name)

    [​IMG] Why do people always talk about "beating the game". AD&D is something you interact with, not something you "beat". Its not a competition people - its just a bit of fun.

    When a game has an ending like a CRPG, you "beat" the game.

    When you play pen and paper AD&D, there is no "beating" involved because it always continues, unless of course, the DM says otherwise.

    So...I beat the game.

    Games are won or beaten, I think you're just a bit to immersed. I found 4 or 5 spells in a bunch of different areas in chapter 6.

    I didn't miss any point.

    IWD is a CRPG which can be beaten. I beat the game. End of story.

    [​IMG] after all i went thru @ the end, you better believe i beat the game, and i will beat the game again and again....... ;)

    as for PnP, i still havent beat the 'game' that i was playing in high school 10 years ago. unfortunatly, i havent talked any of my buddies that i played w/ back then in about 7 years.
