    [​IMG] I heard you can get the scimitar +3 'Icingdeath' in this game.
    If this is true, where do you get it?

    i cant recall if it is a random item, but i remember finding it in the Frost Cave were Joril is.

    I was able to find two good scimitars:
    The Valiant: +2 weapon with an extra attack (I think I got it somewhere in Chap 6) and
    The Frostbrand: +3. And it is found in Joril's lair (the Frost Dudes they are)

    [​IMG] I found both those scimitars, and the valiant is definately my favorite sword, if I don't need a +3 or greater to hit something (enter the frostbrand sword). What does the Frostbrand actually do, though? Does it really protect you from fire and do extra (double) damage against fire-based creatures? If so it doesn't say anything in the description!

    I like the name Icingdeath, even if it's a misunderstanding. I'm hoping it's chocolate. Death by chocolate frosting seems almost like a good way to go.

    The Frostbrand Scimitar indeed is misleading from it's description. But once you 'ready' it as your weapon go to your stats and check out your *resistances*. Then fight any 'Fire' dealing creature (or next time around' and see what damage you deliver.

    I don't know why the design team for IWD at Black Isle/Interplay didn't put a description on this legendary Sword.
