Need help with game bug

    [​IMG] Hi, I am getting a game crash in the Vail of Shadows. Whenever I attempt to enter the dungeon directly to the north and west of the large statue in the middle of the area I get the following error:

    An Assertion failed in Infinity.Cpp at line number 1763. Programmer says: Demand for WED file failed


    If anyone knows how to correct this error or work-around it I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Well, I'm not an expert, but it sounds like some file the game wants is not being found or maybe is corrupt. I'd reinstall the game. Maybe even try a different size installation. If that doesn't work, I'd start to worry that maybe I had a bad CD. It does happen, although rarely.

    This is not a common problem.

    do have either patches installed? i seem to remember something simmilar happening when i first played. but i installed one of the patches and i havent had a single problem since.
