[IMG] This may be a silly question, but is anyone using the OpenGL 3dfx configuration in running the game? Pros & Cons? Problems?

I've only tried it on my last computer and it slowed the game down to a halt. Never bothered to try it again since I could see no visual improvement at all...

It seems like it's only a joke, for when you select to run on OpenGL 3dfx, the setup informs you that the game really doesn't support it, and that running on it may cause problems. Why the option is there, remains an unanswered question.

Thanks. I'm glad to see that I wasn't doing something wrong, because the game really slowed down on me with this enabled and I didn't see any visual improvements. Guess I figured that since it was listed on the configuration that it might acually do something beneficial.

Hmmm.. Im running it with the open GL checked and have not had any problems with it. I don't know if it really improves it that much or not. Think I'll try to uncheck it and see if there is any differnce. Watch it will probably lock up on me when I don't have open GL checked :)
