That seems strange. If I may ask, is this the first Bioware/Black Isle produced CRPG you've ever played? If so, it might be easier to think of something someone new to these game might miss at first. Now let me make sure of a few things. You have talked to Pomab, gone throught the little chain of dialog mocking his delusions of grandure (I loved doing that...and you'll be happy you did later anyhow). So you're in the buying screen, and you've clicked on the coin buttone for "buy/sell" and not the question mark button for "identify". If all you see is armor at first, there is a scroll bar to the right of his inventory list that lets you scroll down and see everything he has to offer. When you see something you want, just left click on the item and click the buy button. Be warned though to choose wisely. Anything you buy cannot be sold back for full price. It will be more likely 60% of what you payed.

Now if you've played these games before and you're thinking "Man this arse is just going on and on and on like an idiot", well :p. Heh, if all he's offering is armor, then it must be a bug of some sort because he has a decent selection of armor and arms to equip your party with. Try dowloading the patch. It's available on this site and cleared up any bugs in the game for me. It does create one annoying freeze game bug toward the end. It would be a major spoiler if I told you what it is, but it is fixed easily enough. If you encounter a bug that freezed your game after dowloading the patch, just do a search here. There are several topics here that give answers as to how to fix it. Hope I was a little bit of help at least. And welcome to Sorcerer's Place:wave: Be sure and read the FAQ. It really is important for a change:)

Did you try clicking on the slider? IIRC it's on the left hand side of the window where he sells stuff. It looks like a small wooden square.

Blu: There's a slider on the right-hand side. You can scroll down to swords, bows, arrows, slings, etc. If the item is 'highlighted' in red, it means the currently selected character (on the right-hand side of the screen) cannot use the item, so you don't want to buy the item for them.

When you kill a creature, some of them leave items on the ground (you'll have to hunt for the piles with the mouse, if you don't have Heart of Winter installed). Be sure to use the 'slider bar' on those item interfaces too.
