Gem bags

    I've got about halfway through Icewind Dale and then bought HOW. I then got 2 games on the go. a completely new start to IWD and continued my old game. On the new start I can buy Gem bags etc, but on the halfway through one how do I do it as I can't get back to Easthaven to buy them and I can't find anywhere else to get them.

    some changes needs to restart the game. The old savegame reacts to old store-scripts. you need to start new games to get the bags. Export your characters and start anew.

    You could also use Dalekeeper to add one to your party.

    That would still not fix any similar situations in the future. iirc, you cant even access HOW at all without restarting the game.

    However, you might want to export your characters and then import them to HoW. That will at least give you the ability to breeze through the early parts of the game.

    Thanks for the suggestion about using Dalekeeper. It worked a treat. Its amazing how something doesn't seem obvious until you know how to do it.
