Anyone know how to properly copy saves from one PC and load to another? I play on two different PC's and would like to transfer progress back and forth.

If you have the same game installed on both machines (including patches and mods) it will simply be a matter of copy/pasting.
Your games are saved in a save folder in your main installation directory. Burn whichever one you want and copy it into the other save folder.

Yep it is very easy to do so, just copy save games from your save folder, they even fit into a floppy disc for convenience and safe storage!

hummmm, you would think so wouldn't you? I copied the save game folder from my home machine on to CD. Then copied the save games from the disc into the "save" folder on my office machine. The save copies all info from what I can tell. When I start the game on the office machine the "load game" shows the party and save info but when I click done to start from the saved game I get an error message that say's "runtime error" blah, blah, blah. And details tell me there's an error in the temp folder, I should delete the folder and restart the game. That done it still don't work.

I've also tried copying just a single save from the disc to the save folder and even renaming it. Still get the same error message. Compatability issues? Only other thing I can think of is that my home machine uses ME and my office machine uses 98. ???

I've copied other saves back and forth from these 2 machines with no problem. BG 1, BG2, TR 1-5, Thief 1, Thief 2, Revenant, and several others. No problems.

Any suggestions where to look for the mods/patches? I've done basic searches but come up empty since BioWare is defunct.

    Thanks for the help.
