I would also like to know if this mod is any good, and if it is worth installing.

I guess I'll try to make it through TotLM first, then I'll install this mod with a new game. :)

If you look on this board at least one person has tried it, and it does have a new quest Dwarf Crown

It's a good mod if you're replaying the game. It removes a good many items from the game (mostly the IWD portion) and replaces them with other items. AFAIK none of the new items are overpowered (BG2 Item Upgrade it ain't!), and some have interesting special abilities, so it does make the game seem fresher. The mod also adds loads of spells, which will eventually become a problem when you scribe a scroll and don't see it appear in your spellbook! The spells are also standard D&D spells and therefore don't upset balance either. However the HoW portion only adds a couple of shops with some rather dull items, which is a bit of a shame. Finally, as DS mentionned, you get one new quest, and an assorted quest item that you can decide to keep if you want rather than completing the quest (the item in question is pretty good)
