I have a big proble,. I have tutu installed and had just finished the Nashkel Mines and killed the wizard in Feldpost Inn. I was about to travel to The Friendly Arm but then the fatal happened. My screen went black and the program didn´t respond.
I tried to reload several times and the same thing happened. The screen went black before the load scrren was finished. I can´t play the game. Pleae help me.
And I have a full install og both BG1 and TotSC, and recommended for BG2 and ToB. And I don´t want to start over, please. I had a such a good roll and everything. Is there any thing I can do?

There are a couple of things you can do.
Save your savegame and reinstall the whole thing. If the game still crashes after this it´s your save that´s corrupt.
So in that case just use Ctrl+8 and remove the points you didn´t have, you can press okay even if you haven´t spent all points on your stats.

Also, I dont know if you´ve cheated any in your game. I was playing around to test some things out the other day, so I used CreateCreature. Not long after I had the same problem as you. The screen went black and then BG exited itself.
So, not cheating is a hot tip to get it to work.

I haven´t cheated no. The only thing I have done is to change Imoens portrait.

Then reinstalling is my best tip.
Also, a full install of BG2 is recommended aswell.
Although, it´ll all take up quite some space.
My BG1 and BG2 folders are 6.3 GB in size together ;)

But a full install of BG2 isn´t needed. It doesn´t say anything about that in the Read Me.

I want to get back to play.
The thing is that my first save game works. I saved right at the start of the game, and that save works. Its the Quick Save and the Auto Save that doesn´t.
So I could just start over, but I do not want to play all the way to where I am now, just so the game can crash again. I want to know whats wrong.

If this can happen several more times then its not worth it. Then I can just screw Tutu. What if I was in the end of the game right now, and the same thing happend. Then I would have to start all over again. Perhaps straight BG is better.

    Games are buggy. Period.
Regular BG has crashed for me several times aswell, so it´s not just tutu.
Although, I´ve had problems with tutu aswell...
For example, two two times I´ve beaten Bg1 with Tutu installed the final cutscene after beating Sarevok doesn´t show. It just keeps showing me standing there after I get the "Sarevok has fallen" message.

And as I´ve said two times already.
What you need to do is reinstall probably because some file or whatev was copied wrong. Computers are not always working as they should. Every fault cannot be explained...

And no, it isn´t NEEDED, but the more info you got on your hdd the better.

Okey. Thanks. But do you mean that if I reinstall then my save games should work?
And about that bug you talked about: Did you have to start over or did you solve it? Beacause I can handle bugs that can be fixed, just not the ones thats fatal.

I have no room to intall the whole thing.

Maybe it´ll work, I cant guarantee it.
And no, I haven´t been able to solve my bug. I´ve seen the movie a thousand times before. But it dont quite feel like you won unless you get to see it...
Anyone else had this bug I wonder?
