Can't stand Aribeth? *spoilers*

Okay, maybe it's just me, but I find Aribeth's character *extremely* annoying. Her whole 'high-handed', 'holier-than-thou' attitude constantly gets on my nerves. And her pretentious, haughty accent doesn't help Not mention the fact that she doesn't seem to be able to decide whether she should sound British or Australian....

So, does anyone else find her annoying, or am I alone here?

She is a bit on the histrionic side in the early going. That changes later, though, so don't worry too much about it. You know how those paladins get when on a holy quest.

One thing I find really annoying is when Tomi has another master and you click him.. It's mostly that "Don't cha now" i can't stand.

 

I like Aribeth (and sharwynn too)

 

She heals you and sells you stuff, what more could you ask?

 

i love the 'zoom' option. muahaha.

I'll go ahead and agree. She may be hot, but I still avoid ever going near her.

Her voiceacting is the audio equivalent of someone using an entire bottle of cologne at once.

 

Wdell, she is a paladin. So they all go for good, right and justice.

You might check the table in the manual, there you can see if your alignment causes problems with hers..

 

indeed she is a paladin and from what i remember from the original rules most other classes can't stand them because they are all holy and stuck up and condesending and such. that is basicly what they are supose to be if they wheren't they would just be knights

Hmm...well, she doesn't seem to have any problems with my characters at all and in fact seems to really like them. Must be me Us little rogue types just seem to get 'unsettled' around those paladins.

A couple of good things about Aribeth are that she makes a very nice breakfast in the morning and she has been practically insatiable since she lost her last lover (I hope she doesn't find out how much of a role I had in having that loser hanged just so I could hook up with her).

Well, shes a real pain in the neck when you get to chapter 4 and you have to fight her... she is really annoying anyway, and i was very happy when i took out dual burning short swords and... well.. you know the rest.
