Hullo, iv only beaten the OC once, and I think it was around with a rouge(17). I am now playing with a Druid currently (10) in the final of chapter 2. I was wondering if I will be anywhere near close enough to use eldar elemental forms?

What level and class were your OC characters when first finished?

    Paladin level 16, I believe.

Classes which are not geared towards direct melee combat get more XP per kill in the game. Thus you get more XP as a rogue than as a fighter, for instance.

My Bard RDD CoT was level 18 (Bard 5 RDD 10 CoT 3).

The XP thing is interesting... and makes sense.

Also, does doing the the quest ultimately giving you a better ending exp? I mean it seems the game balances out the exp from monsters anyway right?

When I played this with my Sorcerer I ended at level 19 or was it level 20. I know as a Fighter I ended at level 16 almost at level 17.

Sorcerer, Wizards, Bards, and Rogues all earn more xp through the OC than other classes.

[IMG] Ranger (1) Rogue (14) IIRC...

The XP weighting might should be a new thread, but I wondered if my 1 lvl of Ranger killed my chances for better XP?

Still running through HOTU with Ranger (1) Rogue(x)... Am I crazy or what?

If you've got the latest patch, it also depends on whether you take a hireling. I had Tomi initially, and after dumping him I noticed he had been stealing some of my XP. I think that in the earlier versions of the game it was the other way round, and having hirlings/summons would increase the XP you got.

When I played the prologue as a Sorcerer I received less xp for killing a weak goblin at level 1 than I did at level 2 or 3. Once I was level 4 I received less xp than I did at level one.

After I found this out I tried some xp experiments in the OC. For instance, after reaching level 5 as a sorcerere you receive more xp per a kill if you take RDD or Palemaster levels.

Since human don't get xp penalties for there highest level class and Prestige class it makes sense that human character will have more levels than other races that mutiple class outside of their preferred class.

So from a gaming prospective if you try to achieve maximum level and complete all quest a human arcane caster taking RDD or palemaster levels should end the origianl OC with the highest level possible.

I never got to complete my game as it was becoming way to easy especially since I was still receiving 50xp for killing zombies at level 9.
