Newb Question on HakPaks & NWN-SoU-HotU Campaign

    Finished playing some really nice mods that alter gameplay in BG2 campaign.

    I just installed NWN-SoU-HotU ..'m curious whether the Hakpak's specifically Prestige class additions and player created content alter/enhance the gameplay in the campaign or just do it for modules that you might have installed. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

    If it's a hak, it must be added to modules when they're being built, so would not affect the official campaigns. However, there is one prestige class package that replaces the dialog.tlk file, which means that they can be used in the campaigns.     I've tried a few. The Lich is fun, but I couldn't work out how to use the Acolyte of Skin's abilities, which was a bit of a let-down. I'm currently trying Heirophant, which is working well.

    Thanks again. I tried to install the latest PrC Pack ver 1.9 with the toolset but can't seem to open the campaign module. Any tips on how to add the Prestige class pack to the main campaign?

    Sorry, I should have mentioned this earlier. You need to have HotU patched to version 1.61 to use it.

    I do have HotU patched to 1.61 but still dont understand the procedure to install the PrC to the main campaign. Any further tips would be greatly appreciated.

    You should just have to run the installer, and it does it all for you.

    Actually Stratovarius, one of the HakPak's designers gave me the info on hopw to implement which requires converting the campaign chapters into mods and setting up some event functions with Aurora.
