Has anyone else noticed how shallow multiplayer can be? You get on these servers with people running around with god awful items they made and simply brought with them... Chasing you down (if you are on PK) and then laughing at you with their l33t internet slang because their touch of death weapon killed you?

However, the game is sooo good in a closed circuit multiplayer ran by your favorite DM. Moderation is good.

Of course it'll be like that. Everyone here who has tried Diablo II on Battle Net knows how crap unmoderated online multiplayer can be.

Revenge can be sweet. After I had that happen to me a couple times, I went into the toolset, created a suit of armor that made me immune to everything and imported that into the game on a character, needless to say, they were in for a shock.

I have not been able to get pickup games going. If you want to multiplay, really about the only good way is to get a bunch of friends together and do it that way.

Not all. Before Wildfire( :flaming: ) went on vacation I'd multi with him. Of course, some did join with god-weapons, but they were level 20 playing in chapter 2.... :flaming:

One time a paladin joined us. Level 20 weilding a two-bladed sword having taken Ambidexterity and Two-Weapon Fighting even though there are a lot more feats could be spent on those 2. I was lmao. :)

[IMG] Haven't played multiplayer yet, due to the abysmal framerate of the game on my computer, However, If I do, I never want to annoy Rastor if I meet him. Ever.
