NWN crashes my connection...

    [​IMG] I've recently come back to NWN afer a short hiatus playing morrowind, and I've discovered I can no longer play multiplayer (although I've definitely been able to before). I can login fine, and sometimes I get the info in the chat box shown afer connecting, with the news etc. But then no servers load and nothing comes up in the chat window. I tried exiting NWN and running IE, but it won't connect to any sites, just says "connecting to blahblahblah.com" and then shows the "cannot find server" screen.

    I can load pages if I reconnect, but the same thing happens if I try and run multiplayer again. I tried reinstalling, but no joy. Any ideas? (I had the latest patch before reinstallation, but get the same thing with the straight-from-CD version).

    Edit: I really should use that preview post function :p

    Be more specific, do you have a firewall or router/hub which you use to connect to the internet through? What connection do you have?

    Well, I don't really know much about the techincal side of connections, but I'm pretty sure I'm not going through a firewall or a router/hub (whatever that is). I have a BT ISDN line.
