I hope somone still comes to this forum...

Anyway. I have a problem that I've had for a long time. I bought BG back in the day and eventually I got bored of it and deleted it. Unfortunatly, I forgot to uninstall it, and now when I try to remove it (I have XP), it says I need a specific file. Is there any way I can completly delete BG and then I can re-install it? (I really want to play it again now that I have BG2 :D ) Or, if you can't do that, could I get someone to send me the file and that might work. OR if that doesn't work, could I get someone to send me all the files of BG? (I know that would take a long time to ul, but I'm desperate!) Thank you everyone!

PS. I'll post the name of the file shortly.

    EDIT: the file is uninst.isu

I've just e-mailed you the file although it should be somewhere on the BG installation disc. Have you tried running a search for it?

Or failing that, does installing the game in a different directory work?

I've often found that I just install it into the same diredctory. The autorun might not let you, but if you use the setup from the cd drive it should still install without problems. Then you could uninstall or just play it.
