How about simply quoting your character when playing something else?

I think giving me puzzled or ditry looks when I mention other games counts too...

 

Here's a sign for ya:

Whenever you watch a movie (any movie), you keep a pen and paper handy so you can think up character builds for each of the main characters of the movie. And then you actually go and do it.

When your date wants to cancel, you warn them that it will shift their alignment 5 points toward evil...

 

You figure out what your stats are in real life. (Also, when you post a topic like this).

 

when you believe that Never Winter Nights is the best game in the world (ouch)

And when you wonder how you would look in the queer looking full plate mail.

 

In the very moment you submit your post in this topic - you admit that you're a true NWN-nerd. That's the bitter truth ;P

 

I've done the opposite of that for my current PC. Was watching a movie and thought "Wow! That main character in that movie is just like my PC!"

I still find the worst thing is when you start speaking in Real Life saying things that your PC would say in the game, without realising.

 

Humming the tavern music to self is pretty bad.
Also trying to use "screen edge turning" on windows GUI!

 

In middle of conversations you constantly use the phrase "actually I want to ask about something else".

 

When things go badly in real life and you have the urge to load the last quicksave.

but you watch all 7 of them... in one sitting... without crying out.

Oh, how i lament the days when boring mediocrity was still painful!
