I am replaying Neverwinter nights and i have dual classed my mage character into a cleric also. both are now level 8 for cleric and mage, but for some reason i am not getting any higher spells for my cleric then level 2, However it is offering me 1 slot in level 3 and 1 slot in level 4,,,,,,but no spells on the left side from which to choose.......can anyone tell me why. Or how to fix this?

    Thanks lori

Well, I'm thinking that as your main/first class is Wizard, you probably don't have a particularly high Wisdom (what Clerics use to cast their spells). To cast Cleric spells, you'll need a Wisdom of 10 + spell level, so to cast level 3 spells, you need a Wisdom of 13, for level 4 spells you need 14 Wisdom, etc...
Having a "low" spell casting stat (int for wizards, charisma for sorcerers, etc) limits the maximum level of spells you can cast (however if you are wearing any equipment which boosts that stat - like a Ring of Clear Thought for a Wizard - this will be taken into account for the maximum spell level as long as you are wearing it. Take it off & you loose the effect!), but does not limit the number of spells that can be cast per day (not counting bonus spell slots).
