Daelan won't fight

    I don't know what happened. All of a sudden in chapter 3 he won't fight anymore. He just stands there and lets his enemies hack him to death. As far as I can see he is not affected by any magic. What am I missing?

    The AI sucks in NWN so there's probably nothing you can do about that. But if you want to try...try telling him to leave your group or whatever, and then ask him to join you agian. That might fix it.

    It might be that, but this occured right after encounter with Umber Hulks, is it possible that he is affected by some magic which doesn't appear in his character sheet.

    Did you set him to "follow" or "stand ground?"

    If so, he won't fight until you tell him to "guard me" or "attack nearest."

    Or it could be the npc's unfathomably retarded AI, of course.

    I have tried your advice with rejoining Kovalis, but it doesn't help. I set him on follow and then I tried with setting him on attack nearest but he just won't do it. He runs to the attacker and then he just stands before him. I don't know what to do.

    Looks like its time to get a new henchman. Try Grimgnaw, he's usually better than Daelan anyways. ;)
