I'm changing mine to half-elf fighter. I'm still planing on being a DM too.

 

Human
Conjurer/Sorcerer/Bard

Need spells, anyone?

 

I'l definitely play a halfling rogue or fighter-rogue first - not surprisingly that was the char I applied to ALFA with

 

heh, i know the answer to the sorcerer/theif question. anyone ever read Elminster, the Making of a Mage he starts out theif, breaks in to a temple, get put into a evlven forest as a women has some fun learns magic, gets turn into a man again, he kills some evil mages, either he turns him self into the mage, or hes a natural born mage, but he hated magic cause it killed his neighborhood. go read the book.

a mage (they kewl) or a kensi or monk. always wanted to be them... o and whats with the watcher lv. 0 and kobold level 4 thing? im new

Also, there'll be no kits in NWN, although you could design your fighter more or less like a kensai.

I've decided on a class for my Argyle dwarf now... A fighter/bard.

Unless i change my mind before NWN comes out(which i probably will), i`ll play as a paladin..i like it when they really start growing in power, gaining special ability one after another.

is it possible for a druid to go beyond level 14 in NWN? if so, i will go for druid instead.

 

Yes, any character can attain level 20.

I´ll go for a Drow Conjurer (Lawful Evil of course) and a human Paladin.

 

For Starters: It will be a Human Fighter named Thracin
Next a Elfish Ranger/Rogue named Phadian
This is just the begining.

When I learn more about NWN I'll probably be back to edit those.

 

I will get a halfling rogue or cleric. Depends.

 

From my conversations with people, it looks like there is going to be a lot of "good Drow" running around the world of NWN. What do you all think of that???

 

In a lot of areas of Faerun they believe the only good Drow is a dead one. Any Drow walking the streets of Phlan is likely to be filled with arrows before they can say "It's OK, I'm Drizzie's nephew!"

 

SERIOUSLY!!!! People need to get the clue that Drizzt is an anomally. Drow are evil at heart and that is the way it is. Like Erran said if there is a Drow walking around on the surface it is going to be dead really quick. If people really want to make Drow to be the good force then maybe Mystra better start terrorizing the world. That is all I have to say.

 

My first level would surely be a human Ranger, for the free ambidexterity and two-weapon fighting feats. I'll then pump all the rest of my levels into the Fighter Class, going for feats such as Weapon Focus, Specialisation, Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack, Expertise, Improved Critical and Two weapon fighting, Whirlwind.
Later, I'll invest a few levels in either the Rogue or Barbarian Class to get the Alertness and Uncanny Evasion feats. Most likely the Rogue class. Sneak Attack always comes in handy.
Concerning equipment, I'll go for Bastard Swords with Short Swords. With Exotic Weapon Proficiency, of course. I'll be using at the most studded leather armor or none at all.

My character will be a skill-based fighter at mid-level. Before that, I will probably have to break out the plate mail and exchange blows toe-to-toe with monsters. Bah.

Stats wise, I shall focus more on Dexterity, Intelligence (for the skill points), Constitution, and Wisdom (For better saving throws).

If they bring in Oriental Adventure Rules, Weapon Master Prestige Class!! Or if they add in Psionics later, a few classes in Psion would be nice to take care of those pesky magic users...

Well as far as i know there has been two exceptions for evil drows (Drizzt, Zaknafein) and I personally like drows to be evil so i dont like the idea of having a lot of good drow elfs running around acting like woss´es
