Spellcraft and saving throws

    When I levelled my fighter from 11 to 12, all my saving throws increased by 1 (skill points put into discipline and heal).

    Just for fun, I reloaded the game and decided to put all my skill points to Spellcraft - increasing my rank to 5. I assumed my saving throws overall would increase by 2.

    That did not happen. In fact, whether I increased my Spellcraft rank to 5 or not, my saving throw still increased by only 1.

    What gives? Don't 5 ranks in Spellcraft give an additional +1 to saving throws?

    The reason that bonus doesn't show up is because you only get the bonus against spells, whilest the saving throws on the character sheet will be used for everything. Don't worry, if a spell is cast at you, you will get the bonus from spellcraft.
