import characters?

    bg2 says you can export toons to nwn, however a friend of mine says it cant be done.

    can anyone shed any light on this plz.

    I havent yet gone out and bought NWN ....

    I assume you can take bg2 toons into iwd 1+2 ?

    Regarding BG2 -> NWN, it was initially planned, but was scrapped when they decided to just have you start out at first level instead.

    I can't say for sure whether you can import BG2 chars into those other games, but I highly doubt it.

    According to the FAQ on the NeverWinter web site, you cannot take BG2 characters into NWN. They changed their minds as Fellinoid said. But they never issued a patch or update to remove the 'ads' inside BG2 that say you can buy NWN and continue with your BG2 character. I was very dissapointed, I wanted to continue with my BG2 character into greater adventures in NWN.
