[IMG] In the Blacklake District of Neverwinter, there is a house with a skeleton infestation behind the bookcase - the Halueth bookcase. Also in the passage is a door that won't open. I have tried everything to get through that door but I can't. Does anyone know how to do it?

I think you need to speak to the woman in the house and she'll tell you what to do.

That's part of a quest that you get from someone (Oljeff, iirc) in the Halls of Justice/Temple of Tyr. Unless you do the first part fo the quest, you won't be able to go into that door.

Like Falstaff said, you need Olaff (sp?) in the Hall of Tyr to give you the tomb quest, either by being cleric (maybe also Paladin) or by persuading him. He'll direct you to the first tomb in the Prison district. There you'll get three artifacts (in the chest) with which you can open the other tombs. At the entrance of each there is a chest with a note in it. The note is actually a riddle that tells you which artifact to place in the chest. When you place the right artifact in it, it will disappear and the door will open. The door you're talking of is one of those tombs.

[IMG] Hey, thanks to everyone for the help. I've begun the quest and now I have run into another problem! The Swords of Never are killing me, literally. Are there any good tricks to help get by them? Grimgnaw and I are just dying everytime we get in there.

Leave Grimnaw to his own skills and do an end run around the swords. Do what you need to do and then bail. A potion of invisibility might help.

I was able to beat the swords once, as a thief character, by summoning a dire wolf (use magic item skill with a scroll), then using potions of barkskin, bulls might, speed, and endurance. I think I applied the same potions to Daelan as well, but Grimgnaw should suffice just as well, if not better.

    There were no casualties.

    Some pointers:
    1) Try to split them up, they are less dangerous when alone (or with two)

    2) Use some buffing against elemental damage, that takes away a part of their damage.

    3) I discovered the swords are extremely vulnerable to mindaffecting spells like sleep and such. :D

    4) If all else fails, just incredibly boost your ac, then they can't hit you unless with a critical. Trust me, I've managed to do this, the needed ac isn't that high.

Thanks for all the advice! Quest complete with minimal casualties. I found running like mad and stopping occasionally to fire a bolt or two at the swords proved effective! They were surely worth the effort to kill, though.
