What an interesting way to introduce yourself to the boards! I go along with Kitrax -- Bush was probably a dirty fighter back in his youth -- IIRC, he was quite the drinker!

Saddam might win in a camel - humping competition, though!

I think I've read that Saddam is in pretty bad condition (well, was, really; now it must be a heck of a lot worse). But if we reminded six months earlier, I'd say it'd be an even fight, but Bush would get the upper hand. Of course, that's assuming Saddam does cheat and throw some anthrax in Dubya's face. ;)

You mean in a fight one against one. Î'd say 100% Saddam.

I don't know the biography of both exact, but it seems as Saddam has since more than 10 years problems with his back.

But Saddam has nevertheless all jokers on his side. He's as cunning as a fox, a proven specialist for survival and went from rags to riches through killing everything which happened to be in his way. Whereas George Bush was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Daddy has paid for his grades at Harvard and as far as I know has no combat expirience at all.

It can't be called fairplay. It's like a mouse versus a cobra.

[IMG] Its good to see that you give a reasion why you vote what you vote. I hold with saddam. I think the guy could bring up a fight. It is true what yago says "Whereas George Bush was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Daddy has paid for his grades at Harvard and as far as I know has no combat expirience at all"

    Keep on voting folks

Well, if Saddam doesn't have his back problem, he can open an entire truckload of whoopass on Bush. Reason being is that one cannot live in a country always riddled with military coups and harsh enviorments without being able to throw a punch.

And I sure wouldn't want to mess with a guy who has a four-minute mile (or maybe five or something). I wonder how long it's been since Saddam has actually ran a mile himself.

I would think that Saddam is probably a more insidious and clever person (comme cobra), but I really don't think he's very fit physically. Isn't he a bit older than Bush, anyways?

[EDIT: Date of Birth - Saddam: 1937. Date of Birth - Dubya: 1946]

    Saddam! :D

I think it was Harvard. ;)

Do you know hat level of fitness is required to run a five minute mile? Four would be next to impossible. Oh, you did say "five or something." Seven or eight might be more realistic.

I could run a six minute to seven minute if I'm REALLY lucky.

Actually, one of my classmates had something like a 5:15 mile. Pretty much sprinted four laps.

I imagine both would be somewhat at a loss realising they can't just sign an execution order. That said it seems Bush would be more likely to win in a straight fight, for fitness reasons mentioned. However, the fight need not be a straight fight. Bush, undoubtedly, would have to fight fairly with the eyes of the world upon him, and hordes of lefties who would be outraged if he hit below the belt. Saddam however, doesn't have to worry about approval ratings and would likely cheat.

End result: Bush pummels Saddam into unconciousness only to find that he's been fighting a body double and his victory pretzels are laced with anthrax.

I'd say Bush. C'Jakob: someone in your class can run a 5:15 mile??? I run the 880 in 4:30. That's only half a mile.
