I'm annoyed by many things. I have a low threshold for anything annoying. Right now I'm annoyed of too much school work and bad grades...

On a harsher note...Zorith, you should learn to judge people by their actions and character, not by where they come from, what god they pray to, or the color of their skin, jackass.

    This is curious:

For some twisted reason I'm more comfortable with people who despise all who claim to be Muslim (wrong though that is) than those who refuse to admit that the religion has anything to do with the 9/11 attacks and human rights violations around the world.

I guess it seems better to confront the situation and come to the wrong conclusion than it is to turn a blind eye.

Shralp, this is how i see it. I know that many many Muslims are lovely people, who are just like the rest of us. Hell some Extremist Muslim in Manchester tried to hand all the Muslims pamphlets on 9/11 (trying to justify the attack) and they punched him in the face. The majority of Muslims are lovely people. But, i also think that if the religion didn't exist, then all these bad things won't happen.

Extremist, you're a Muslim? And why were you in Manchester handing out pamphlets? I hope your face is feeling better though...

    [IMG] ROTFL!

Nah. I'm not a muslim (at least not yet) and besides I don't have a passport to travel outside my country (again, at least not yet).
So anything else is a pure speculation...lol!

Eilonwy - nothing is as selfish or pathetic as suicide. Nothing is so bad that it cannot be worked out. The refusal to cope with hardship is one of the laziest and stupid things that humans are capable of.

I know you probably didn't mean that statement, but it so aweful that anyone would consider such a thing. Imagine the hurt and pain that you'd leave behind!

I'm pissed off with those who act righteous and claim that their actions are really in the name of justice when it really serves personal interests. E.g. the U.S.A. (Don't get me wrong; there are many good people and things which come/have come from the U.S. so I'm not against all of you). I know that Saddam must be stopped blah blah blah, but why isn't it done through the UN? It is done in the name of security and justice but why does the U.S. overlook many of the other atrocities/genocide/threats which occurred or still exist today? E.g. The Turkish invasion of N. Cyprus or the genocide of Armenians by the Turks, the recent slaughtering of minority groups in Russia, China & S. Africa. That of Palestinians by Israelites. Shouldn't anything be done in the name of humanity/righteousness for these or and other similar injustices? The U.S. does not intervene unless it is in their own interests. Why in the Middle East? - Oil. Why not in Turkey? - U.S. military bases in strategic location. Why not in Palestine? - U.S.- Israeli relations.
There are many other countries and incidents which have occurred, but I wish to focus on the U.S. since they are the most powerful nation in the world who mainly claim to fight for justice, democracy etc etc. So, you might reply that they are doing it in the national interest, fine, but dont claim otherwise to the rest of the world.

Another e.g. of self proclaimed righteousness. Capitalists & Capitalism. I'm not a Communist, Socialist, Anarchist nor am I affiliated with any other political party/system, but there are many, many problems with the Capitalist system which the majority fail to recognise/admit. In a nutshell, it is a system where one may benefit and prosper at the expense of another - greed. I believe that Capitalism is just as bad as Communism.

I also agree with you, Drunken Monk.

I get pissed when I see Eminem on TV. He's either a morron, or a genius who makes great money of naive and stupid people with idiotic songs, if you can call them that.

Look The Fallen, if someone ever critizes you or the way you post, when you havn't insulted anyone or acted like an idiot just ignore them. If someone just HAS to say something nasty to you for no reason, then you know you're better than they are, regardless of your maturity.

We tried. Ever heard of the UN Weapon Inspectors? They were removed from Iraq, despite Saddam signing a treaty to allow them to work in Iraq.

Sorry, but I get somewhat annoyed whenever someone begins bashing my country without understanding the full issues.
